@andy86i thanks!- I picked it up at a yard sale for 20 bucks. Don't let anyone tell you they are hard to find or rare.....they made millions of these things....I hope you get one!
@sunnyand75 - Actually it has! It was released in England in 1965 on the Stones' 2nd British LP... And in America it was released on More Hot Rocks on 1972. The latter album is on CD (I think...) so if you want to listen to it on CD, feel free. By the way, I personally think it sounds GREAT!
The stones started off with a wonderful raw, jungle sound. It wasn;t until they visited the famous Chess studios in Chicago that they perfected their amazing blues-rock sound, so evident in the mid-sixties. This song represents the first fruits of that amazing visit. What a biting guitar solo from Richards - he must have been really inspired meeting Muddy Waters and his other heros back in 1964.
Totally agree!!... Brian - with his teardrop guitar - and Keith's blues playing - are really stunning here and together it's amazing... and what a solo!... wooooo - such a lush, rockin' sound the boys had at this period... awesome stuff.
For my money that's the biggest, baddest guitar sound the Stones ever produced in the studio. The instrumental ending to this could go on for another five minutes as far as I'm concerned.
Thanks! I did the same as a kid, then when we got older we would have party's with girls and we'd always put on a fast one, followed by a slow one. AHHHHH! Blame it on the STONES!
Dave! This is incredible! My mom had an earlier model of this RCA 45 changer...my brother and I used to stack her old singles and watch it go for hours when we were kids. This really takes me back. Thanks for posting.
My 4th grade buddy's family had one too! we used to take his brothers copy of BEEP BEEP, pull the machine from the wall and start walking around it faster & faster like the song..hardly a time went by where we could do it without making the record skip!
nice record player

Well said! Their version of "I Can't Be Satisfied" still hasn't seen the light of day.
June 10-11, 1964 was a time to remember for the Rolling Stones at CHESS.
