When I "woke up" 3 years ago, my mind was BLOWN AWAY by the reality I live in. I couldn't believe I didn't see it all before. 3 years later, I live off of just $400 a month with 3 children. Life is harder but at the same time easier, and happier, because I am serving no one but myself and my family. We live green (except for diapers, lol) and reuse all our supplies. I haven't bought from a mall in years. I have no facebook. I have more steps to take before my transformation is complete, though.

@yannbane Personally school did nothing for me. I would have been much better off learning how to build a house, how to live in nature, how to live off the land,etc....rather than sit in a classroom and "learn" about some crazy math problems that I'll NEVER use in my entire life again, and have forgot 99.9% of what was "taught". I'm almost sure that most people would prefer to learn useful things rather than sit in a classroom rotting their brains.

@ButtSmuckerNinga actually, when you pretend to swing at an animal, they cringe. if they dont know theyre going to be hurt, then they dont cringe. but i think animals are wiser when facing death. they probably do know its natural. still, when an animal knows its going to be killed, it tries to escape. ever seen a gazelle trying to escape a cheetah? hell, you can see the fear in their eyes!
