The guitar riffs in this are absolutely classic. That, along with the bass make this song absolutely unique. I don't think I've heard any other band do it as well as the Doors did. Thanks for posting this.
@AlexxSR I know, I did and can't imagine any other time when music was so diverse. Granted, we had crappy pop/bubble gum music back then, BUT, the difference was that we had sooooo much to choose from. Today, unfortunately, mainstream music is controlled by execs whose only concern is to line their pockets. It's no longer about the art, but solely money, imho. But, enjoy what you can from those eras. Thank GOD for youtube, huh?

@AlexxSR From the mid 60's on was an incredible time to be young and alive. We would go downtown where the streets were teeming with people, strange for a small town, even for a Saturday. You were shit if you didn't have your transistor radio with you to listen to music. We would walk quite a ways to the park across the street from the pool to hang out and watch the guys pull hole shots with their hot cars. Music was everything.......
