Of course they won't work, USA are not sanctioning Iranian oil worrying oil prices will go even higher. Iran has recently stopped accepting dollars for oil, this will effect USA. Iran have strenthened ties with asian countries (if westerners dont want iranian oil they can piss off). In dec sign 16 billion oil deal with malaysia, currently negotiating with india and Pakistan.

Iran should just announce sanctions on the United States, and refuse to sell oil to U.S.
