  • Don't think I've ever seen a roadie give way to anyone, ever. Lets face it, most of them (roadies) are arrogant lycra wearing pricks.

  • Thanks for the upload buddy :)

Glad you bike to save the world ^^

  • BUY A FUCKING CAR.

  • @james199346 Not sure what this obsession with buying a vehicle for having sex in is... is it because you've never actually *had* any sex (apart from with yourself) and are a little angry at the world? Yes, that's probably it.

  • my good sir do you pay road tax? no then fuck off

  • @Civicboy1991 No I don't.. but then neither does anyone else as it doesn't exist. So why don't you f*ck off yourself, there's a good little boy.

  • @sh4rkybloke i think you find i do my good sir hense the tax for your car or motorcycle is road tax going of the size of the engine till 02 plates then going of the emisiions you put out this is road tax. if you really want to think your clever dont try with a mot tester ok bye bye now

  • @Civicboy1991 I think you'll find it's called VED. Many people still call it Road Tax and are thus easily fooled into thinking it pays for the roads that they use... and that it somehow gives them more right to the road than cyclists... yes, I know, such idiots do exist!! It hasn't been used to pay for the roads since the late 1930s though. Do try to keep up.

  • Have you perhaps tried not to be so aggressive towards other road users?

Yeah, there's some bad driving in there, but you're not exactly a model road user with all those examples of your road rage for all to see....

Maybe motorists view of "dickhead" cyclists wouldn't be so prominent, if cyclists weren't so aggressive and full of rage.

  • @sk93 But my "road rage" is caused by their crap driving... so maybe if they drove a bit better they wouldn't have to put up with my "road rage"... or is that too simplistic?

  • @sh4rkybloke Simplistic? No.. it's unjustified.

People might be a bit more open to looking out for cyclists if they weren't mostly seen to have "bad attitudes" or an "overly high opinion" of their road stature.

Two wrongs don't make a right, and if you're looking for change or to educate cage drivers, you're hardly going about it the right way.

F-Bombing on a residential street is hardly model road user behaviour, and not justified in any of the cases highlighted in your video if you ask me.

  • @sk93 Hang on... two wrongs don't make a right, but it's fine for drivers to be less than open to looking out for cyclists due to them being seen as having "bad attitudes". Hypocritical much?

Also, IME it is mostly car drivers who have an overly high opinion of their road stature, based on the fact that "they pay Road Tax" (which they don't) rather than cyclists thinking they own the roads.

FYI I have apologised to peds in the past if I have shouted expletives due to adrenaline.

  • @sh4rkybloke Hypocritical? Not really; I'm a motorcyclist, a car driver & always give space to cyclists..

I pay my VED, for my vehicle safety & roadworthy test, & for my vehicle insurance, which yes, in my opinion, means I have more "right" to use the road than a cyclist. It doesn't mean I think they should be hit, cut up, or not given adequate space, but it does mean I'm proven to be using something safe enough & that I've taken tests to ensure I am capable of a safe enough standard of driving.

  • @sk93 now, if cyclists were forced to have insurance, have their bikes inspected to ensure they were roadworthy, & to reach a testable level of competence before being legally allowed to use the road, my opinion would change.

Please note, I'm not saying that just because I've passed a test, means I (or anyone else) am now driving perfectly, but that it means I am CAPABLE of it.

Like I said, if you want your grievances to be taken seriously, it's always better to be on the right foot yourself.

  • @sk93 Don't see the relevance - car drivers have all these and still do idiotic and dangerous things (as can be seen from my, and others', videos). As for wanting my grievances to be taken seriously... if a pedestrian gets hit by a car would you argue that they should have passed a test and be insured in order to get any form of serious response from the Police???

  • @sk93 The hypocrisy is that you said I shouldn't get road rage when they drive badly as two wrongs don't make a right... but then you say that they drive badly (less open to looking out for cyclists) due to the fact that they see cyclists as having "bad attitudes". As for paying VED, MOT, insurance and passing test being proof of ability to drive safely... don't make me laugh. Most drivers have passed their test.. only means they drove well enough to pass the test that day.

  • @sh4rkybloke As I said; CAPABLE. I also never said their actions towards cyclists is justified.

I've been knocked off my bike once, & had cyclists hit the side of my car twice, costing me money in repairs despite no fault of my behalf. I've even had cyclists leaning on my vehicle, so as to not put their feet on the floor. Yet I have not once endangered a cyclist.

So, it's not just car drivers who can be dangerous road users.

Insurance would help that. As would a test. Don't you agree?

  • @sk93 If a cyclist is "dangerous" on the roads then the only person they are likely to injure is themselves (talking about vehicular situations here)... when a car driver drives similarly dangerously they can easily kill. This doesn't condone the idiots on bikes (far from it, I deplore RLJing cyclists and their attitude to the laws of the road). As for insurance and a test helping... not really, still get drivers doing stupid things and they have passed a test and are insured.

  • @sh4rkybloke (by bike, I mean my motorcycle, and by knocked off, I mean by a pedal cycle colliding with me by riding through a red light and not looking for motorcycles.)

  • @sk93 I would imagine most people have personal liability insurance as part of thier house insurance so hopefully you weren't out of pocket due to the f*ckwit that took you out.

  • Get a Car then!

  • "... and partially into the ASL" lol, what about you being full in it ? dumbshit whiney bitch.

  • @quosmo1 Errrm, yeah I was in the ASL... which has a little picture of a bike in it to show dipshits like you who it is designed and put there for. Jesus, I really hope you're not old enough to drive yet!

  • I fucking hate cyclist's like you who go in the middle of the fucking road!

Can someone explain to me the fucking of waiting at a red light with a fucking bicycle?

    Some people...

  • @EarForceTutorials I think you'll find that the dashed white lines are in the middle of the road. As for explaining "the f*cking of waiting at a red light with a f*cking bicycle"... can't help you there as it makes no sense. Learn some English grammar and syntax, and maybe pop back when you're a bit older and try again.

  • I think the last one was fair enough. Other 2 i agree were a bit daft

  • well get to the fucking side of the road you like you suppose too.. cars have more right of way on the road then you do, thay pay road tax you dont

  • @manonmoon12 Ha haa, aaahhh, you funny little man. Yeah, 'cars' pay road tax... really, they do... despite the fact that Road Tax doesn't exist, and the tax on your car has nothing to do with paying for the roads. Muppet.

  • @manonmoon12 I'll think you'll find that legally cyclists are on the road by right, middle of the road included, & motorists are only there under licence &,with permission of the DVLA. Hope that's cleared up your ignorance if not your stupidity

  • I hate your titles in between clips. Can you just upload the raw clip itself? It would be much better. Thanks.

  • I think they're just stupid ignorant bastards

  • I had some muppet beep me for NOT going into a cycle box on red once. I should have really got out and had a "chat" with him.

  • @Flamorgan :-) Yep, bang on dude! Clearly this putz has no life. Might be a cyclist sub culture thing; to analyze their commute ad nauseam...

  • omg i want to run you over

  • @hookbastard I'd like you to get charged with attempted murder!

  • ah! the joy and stress free life of a cyclist on way to work! when you get to your work you are grinning at all the car drivers who are so stressed compared to your relaxed attitude!

  • @Flamorgan Yeah, I *made* all thos silly drivers do what they did... I literally forced them to drive without paying attention. Muppet.

  • Dont understand #2. You could see her indicating from far back yet you didnt adjust your speed? I think it would be obvious they would be pulling accross you....

  • @spyder2001 Yeah, I could see her indicating.. but she could also see me approaching, so why start turning across when you know how crap a driver you are and what a hash you'll make of the move? I have priority on my side of the road, she should wait until I had passed before turning. Simple really.

  • @sh4rkybloke

Its proven that people have more trouble percieving the approach speed of small objects opposed to larger ones. If you have the flashy lights on the front it will make it even harder to judge. I agree that she made a bit of a balls up over the maneuver but as a road user you should anticipate other's mistakes. As a car driver i'm always ready to brake when i approach junctions / turnings where people have been waiting for any length of time.

  • You can't exepect everyone to be an expert at driving. One of these days someone will end up getting out of their car and lamping you one, if you keep shouting and swearing at them.

  • buy a car u fool... cyclists are mugs

  • @MrJayJay39 Grow a brain u tool, idiots are annoying. Wow, it's fun; all this 'create-a-little-mantra' malarky.

  • ok lets take them one at a time:

    1. yeah I'll give you that one as it's a pretty poor cycle lane so you didn't have anywhere else to go.

    2. yeah she should have spotted you and waited, but she didn't. Women are allowed to drive these days and are all over the roads doing things like this and more. get used to it.

    3. The light was out of sight of the driver at the point the overtake was initiated - may have even been greet at the time. Stop your whining.

  • @arumdevil Women have always been allowed to drive, you misogynistic fuckhead! ;)

  • @NooNoo123 lol. I know mate it was said in jest. You may enjoy this: watch?v=39qdhbkTko4 ;P

  • That is same here in the U.S. especially in Chicago. We dont have a ASL area at lights, instead you get overtaken by idiots make right turn on RED (it would be left if in a british system).

  • drive on the fuckin sidewalk theres nobody there anyway.

  • @menofat1 The cars or the bike? At 20-30MPH? Is that safe? Riding or driving on the pavement is sensibly against UK driving rules, tends to end with old folk and pregnant ladies getting killed or injured.

  • Swear at me like that you'd end up wrapped round your bike

  • @badgern100 Drive like that and you deserve to get sworn at.

  • @badgern100 Bit silly isn't it? How do you know this guy isn't some 18 stone haevy weight boxing champion that likes to cycle to keep fit? Chances are, sitting on your arse in a box all day with your nice little heater and your comfy seats, he'd be fitter than you anyway. Don't you just love internet hardmen.

  • @badgern100 Drive at me like that and you get a smashed windscreen.

  • @badgern100 Beat my ass for swearing at you after you endangered my life and expect to be giving me lots of money in a lawsuit.

  • you want to chill out mate!

  • @parnol Perfectly chilled, thanks. :-)

  • First clip the driver squeezes you which does suck, but in the second clip you have about 200 yards between you where it is clear she is indicating and has begun to cross. The onus is definately on you there to slow down and wait. You rolling indignantly up to her at full speed when she is half way through the maneuver is pointless and frankly the most dangerous thing I can see in the clip.

  • @beefois 200 yards? Really... you might want to adjust your glasses a bit! She starts to turn across in front of me.. not usually a problem (albeit a bit annoying when I'm that close) but then almost stops whilst doing the turn forcing me to brake fairly hard to avoid hitting her. One would think she would know how long it takes her to do that turn (presuming she does it every night onto her driveway) and wait for a clear bit of road. The onus is on her to undertake the turn when safe to do so.

  • @sh4rkybloke haha yeah way off with yards, feet is probably closer to whatever magical measuring stick i'm using in my head.

I still think you've been given enough time and distance there to anticipate the situation and react defensively. Deceleration + wave of indication = win. It's not a reflection on your ability as a cyclist but it is indicative of an attitude held by many that being forced to use ones brakes for anything other than a red light is somehow a crime against humanity.

  • @beefois I anticipated it... just wasn't expecting that she'd nearly grind to a halt after just starting it. Seems a pretty simple turn into a driveway, just a crap driver doing it. I've no problems with using my brakes, but do get a bit annoyed when I'm forced to do so by other road users' lack of attention/skill. I don't think she would have done the same in front of a car moving at the same speed, and that's the acid test really.

  • i dno, watching video's like this always makes me think to double check for them now cos you realise how bad it seams at the other end

  • i think you are going to kill yourself one day and i just don't understand why are you recording all this and put on the internet...you are not going to change drivers to drive carefully

  • ok i can see the point of making these videos there are some dickhead drivers but some bike riders are just as bad!

  • @EmZ2601 Indeed there are... but mainly they are a danger to themselves only, unlike the car which can easily kill/maim people.

  • i´d say they´re aggressive, blind, short sighted AND stupid! and lazy bastards as well! fuckin motorists!

  • Two things are infinite, the Universe and human stupidity... on reflection though I have my doubts about the Universe. -Albert Einstein

Sh4rky, I find that, whilst cycling, a whistle, permanently ready in my mouth, discourages such behaviour wonderfully. Not a perfect remedy but it's the best there is.

  • This bought back memories, I used to have a floursceine windcheater I found out conspicuous clothing just makes it easier for drivers to try and kill you. To be fair though when someone asked me who's most likely to run into you I had to say: "Another cyclist" because in all the time I'd been riding I hadn't hit by a car by I had been hit by two cyclists, there's a moral there somewhere.

  • Shows the oblivious drivers out there (especially the woman at 0:27 )

  • Loving the bleeps again!!! The second driver was playing the "you can wait, mate" game. Silly thing to do when you now know their address. I mean, some less scrupulous might go back in the very early hours and let their tyres down LMAO!!

  • Don't forget .. cycling is relaxing and enjoyable ..... and sends your blood pressure through the roof. Seriously though, you need to keep an eye on that, ask your Doc to test your bp some time, 40%+ of adults have high bp.

  • That was a tiny cycle lane in the first bit. I find people seem to think the white painted line provides cyclists with some sort of magical protection, so as long as they're to the right of it it doesn't matter how close they get to you.

  • There was a cycle lane in the first one ? I thought that was a single yellow line.

  • Quit fussing - you should know by now that it is the cyclists responsibility to get out of everyone elses way :P.

The 2nd bit would really have annoyed me - loosing momentum, etc.

First bit. If you have problems there just use the bigger cycle lane on the right :P.

  • Most accidents are said to occur near home or the last part of your journey.

Seems like the only think this pug was concentrating on was its house.

It's bad enough they turn in front of you, its worse that they seem to turn from a distance, but just get slower, and slower at completing their friggin' manoeuvre.

  • The first overtake is an example of why on road cycle lanes are a really bad idea.

They encourage closer overtaking than is stipulated in the highway code, on the basis that 'you are in your lane, I'm in mine.'
