wow, someone thinks they're a big shot. shaggytwodope666. super sick name, bra. and i've done this method many times, it works the same. cool your jets.
I did it this way until I got a heat gun. Dry rub the wax on and melt it into the base with the heat gun. No scraping to do and get a full wax job done in under 4 min.
is this a fucking joke? You learned from the pros and you don't even loosen your bindings....... You also use a piece of shit iron, I don't see the problem with spending the 30 bucks it costs for a snowboard iron, the biggest advantage is that it maintains a constant temperature so you can get a better wax. I really hope noone took this video seriously.
@shaggytwodope666 i hope you relize no one takes you seriously if you already know how to wax a snoawboard why the fuck are u watching this video if you think ur such a tough peice of shit how bout you make a video since your a snowboarding genuis
@skate4life9603 how about you learn the difference between your and you're before you make yourself look even more foolish asshole. I was hoping to find some extra tips on what to clean my base with if you must know, but what I found was a shitty fucking tutorial.
Why are you watching this video though, your name describes you as some faggy skater. And why the fuck are you all fucking butthurt over my comments for you dickless wonder. Go destroy whats left of your balls on a rail you cunt.
@jazzbassist23 Why would I need to make one when there are plenty of good ones out there. If you want to do what this idiot does then be my guest, you won't be upsetting me. I'm just trying to deter anyone who actually gives a fuck about their equipment from using this braindead method.
Whatever, like I said if you want to destroy your board then be my guest. One less weekend warrior I'll have to avoid on the hills thats all.
No you don't have to take your bindings off for this you just prop it on something upside down and yea it you want to keep your topsheet mint throw some towels between the board and what it's resting on
@georgecoleman actually you do want to take off your bindings. Or, at the very least, loosen the bolts. The heats causes the space in between the bolts/board to move and could cause permanent damage to your board. You're best off taking off the bindings.
@georgecoleman Top shops actually recommend taking off bindings. Otherwise you get an uneven wax. Your bindings suck the bottom of your board into them lightly because of the screws.

@becktorkelson do you use your snowboard as a tool to ride the mountain or is it just something to hang on the wall? Who the fuck cares if you even do a minor scuff to your topsheet, if you actually ride that shit will happen anyways.
No offense, but if you've worked a ski shop and "learned to wax from the pros" then you should know that keeping the bindings on prevents the board surface from being fully flat and not get the best wax results. Just look down a board with bindings and you'll see how it concaves in at the bindings--not ideal for waxing.
yes wax should be a little bit sticky when you've scraped it all you do after is run the cloth along the board to make it smooth but it will always be slightly sticky.
Yeah any block will work, as long as you know what temperature it's for typically yellow is warm to 0 degrees, orange is 0 to -10 and red is -10 and lower but there are also many other colors but generally all give good results
can u use an i.d as a scraper

I'm a bit confused about the temperature. Is it air temperature or SNOW temp?
If it's snow temp, how do i know what temp is the snow? example how cold is snow when the air is 45 deg F?
thx

@georgecoleman if you dont it can heat your board up and suck the bindindings in and make the boards impact plates break.

I'm just sayin' but to protect the top
side of your board, put a towel in between
those wood boards and the snowboard..
:-)
I was squinting when you were rubbing
cuz I pictured the board scratching on
those 2 x 4's........lol
