The lure of Ellensburg, for most, is the ready access to outdoor recreation, nothing too cerebreal. Therefore, you find most with dirt bikes, hiking boots, snowmobiles, Jeeps, etc. If you don't like this kind of thing then E-burg is probably not going to be your cup of tea. Personally, I wish there was more of an economic base for employment, in which case I would still live there.
