I remember when Art Bell was on the radio, he had an ongoing challenge for many years that if anyone could show him a "free energy" device, let him test it and prove to his satisfaction that it actually worked, he would give them massive amounts of free promotion on his show, and help them find investors and make lots of money. No one took him up on it, probably because he has enough technical knowledge to tell the the difference between the real thing and a phony.

They have been researching kinetic energy for cellphones. There are already similar technologies working in kinetical energy watches. Therefore we may get cellphones you don't have to charge with charger, it will charge itself when you are moving. But what I think they have found is they can shield magnets to direct the magnetic field to reduce "friction" for metal entering the magnetic field, and it is possible to make better electrical generators.

You also were never a scientist who had a reputation to keep up, who if he endorsed this and it turned out to actually be a fake, would lose everything he had come so far to achieve. It would be a huge gamble to take the risk, either becoming one of the world's greatest or flopping into the dust and having to start all over.
