it is possible to do without cheats. but thwe timing is very limited. after you defeat mother brain and get back to your ship you have about 1min 30 sec to charge up speed booster and boost up to them from crateria. I do not have emulator so i cannot show you but it is possible. try it and see it wioll take a few tries though

I know the one by the ship is just art (You go right through it like a ghost), but I don't know about the other one...
