I was part of a takeoff of about 15 boats, one guy had a SST Raker on his 200 Evenrude when he took a shart turn to port, nearly taking out another guy in the process.. Come to find out the SST snapped at the hub, causing the boat to turn hard. We didn't find the missing blade though. We changed rules on how we did takeoffs from then on out to keep any similar incidents from happening.

prop looks like a cleaver or chopper to me ,thay break like that some times when put on engines that have to much power like this one lol thay are no well made you can see the bubbles in the metal i have one broken same as that one . nice ride though :)

@Punt66, this is true, but this fishing boat is doing 109 mph. Most boats wont do over 55, still don't see the problem with maxing out your boat on an empty stretch of water. Not like a kid is out on a raft and the guy is flying by.
