Hi Kellee, i'm a new subscriber. You are absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for your videos they are quite professional and informative. I have a question, my daughters, (14 & 15) have a similar curl pattern to yours so i was wondering if you could offer some advice. Whenever i let them wear their hair curly , the hair that rests on their back is really tangled at the end of the day. I tried trimming but that does not alleviate the problem. Any suggestions?Now they just wear it straight. Help.

@jenwill051 Thanks! I have that same probably sometimes also. I would just suggest that you use a great detangler and make sure you detangle often. Use a styler that has more hold because that might help keep the curls from getting frizzy and forming one large knot. At night braid the hair or use the pineapple method to keep it from tangling while sleeping.

I also find water to be the best refresher....I mix a lil conditioner in my water spray bottle and it works as a nice leave in. I LOVE the Nature's Gate Aloe Vera conditioner and can usually find the liter bottle at Marshalls for $7.99! It's a lil thin, but has great sllp, smells awesome, and is very moisturizing. I also love to sleep with it in my hair and rinse out then style the next morning. oh, and check out elleraquel's videos...we all have very similar hair textures and length.

Okay so youre hair is gorgeous. My hair was too cottony to do this method and wayyyy too long. I evetually broke down and permed it and then cut it. But Im going to go back natural again. Plus your hair looks pretty heavy. I mean I had a lot of long thick hair but it was more cottony and stuck out rather than hung long. If it did I probably wouldnt have cut it :-(

i do the pineapple too but just no satin bonet, sleep on satin pillowcases. i used to use a satin bonet though, but i twas just uncomfortable. I freaking love your curls tho girly <3

has your curly hair product changed and if so what are you using right now?your curls are always looking on point.i use giovanni direct leave in conditioner but i have to reapply to damp hair the next day for more moisture.i wouldn't mind a product that can give me two days of moisture.thanks :)
