  • dont really look like a snare looks more like wire tangled up,if it was a snare, the person that made the video should be arrested for trespassing on some body elses property ,,it did say it was on some body elses land.

  • BANG! Kill it, skin it, eat it. Taste like chicken!

  • So a rodent got caught in a snare... how is this inhumane? It's not suffering, it's just trapped. For all you know, this badger had been trapped to stop it killing chickens or other farm critters. But don't know, and you decided to broadcast a misguided and uninformed message of "animal wellfare". Since you have no idea the circumstances behind why the animal was trapped, you should have educated yourself regarding it and trapping first before opening your yap.

    Nice lightsaber.

  • das ist mal ne fiese falle!!!

  • @AnimalRightsUnited , I have no clue why I sat here and read these comments. Most are uneducated/pointless. That being said yours are by FAR the worst. Considering the fact that you claim to be an animal rights activist, (Which really should mean you care for ALL life not just lower intelligence species but humans too) yet you are apparently a sadist who gains joy from reading about the misfortunes and deaths of honest hunters.

Further more, could everyone check their grammar before posting?

  • This does not look like a snare. I'm in know way an expert on hunting, but my guess is whatever that trap was designed for was much smaller. That badger is just unlucky. As for banning snares; hunting and trappin are ways of life. I'd much rather eat a hunted animal than one raised for slaughter like usually. As far as this snare being "inhumane" goes, there is no telling how long it had been there, and animals should never receive human rights. Many people have to trap and hunt to survive.

  • looks like a snack to me

  • I've practiced making snares, tripping them with a stick to insure I made them properly, but would ONLY use them in a survival situation. Besides, with my luck I'd catch a skunk.

  • dude thats mean should put it out or some thing

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. who cares

  • to all you liberal tree hugin lefty winged piece of poopys they kill pets and small children i kill 2-3 a day in wyomin with them there snars

  • You can't help wat walks into your snare. Some people have to live off the land cause they don't have a lot of money for food. There's nothing wrong with trapping or hunting.

  • nothing wrong with snaring.... if you was so worried about the damn thing why did you sit and video it ... i think maybe the most humane thing woulda been to dispatch the animal asap... not watch it

  • Stop his suffer... Shoot in the head

  • haha i snared a badger once and i didnt even know it was there as i never cheaked it and one day my dad saw it and then shot it. :)

  • proud to be the 50th dislike. to bad the snare didnt dispatch him, bullet holes in the pelts arent the best.

  • thats one less cow that wont suffer from T.B!

  • Thats cruel I would of killed the badger or help it not fucking stand there and make a video so i can put it on youtube. People like you love aminals I don't tink so

  • Nice Badger should of killed it instead of letting it suffer dumbass!!!!!!!

  • What happened to it?

I can not believe some of the dumbass comments on here, jeez, some of you really need to get out more.

  • Ok so make a huge fuss over it bud not cut the rope? Btw this is nat a snare, this is a cable restraint.

  • This is not a snare. It is a cable restraint... A snare would have choked the animal to death.. A cable restraint is like a dog on a leash... You have created a huge fuss over nothing and successfully shown how ignorant you are.. congratulations...

  • "il just stand here and film this for a minute or two"

  • Ur kinda the inhumane one for not killing it and leaving it there..

  • Killit!!

  • I like it, I like it... now, shoot the rat..

  • yea its so mean to trap a badger not like he'd rip your fuckin face off if he had the chance i dont think you people have ever seen what a badger will do to a dog, livestock, or a person and they have a higher sense of pain over other animals.

  • "It's not like I could try to help it or anything. I mean, I'm only standing right in fucking front of it watching."

  • @MellowMink Have you ever encountered a badger before? If you touch him, he will take a good bite out of your hand and eat it. I have lived with badgers around me for years, and they are very aggressive. Not saying that this trap is in any way humane, but it's not easy to get him loose without killing him.

  • @andris4 Not all badgers are aggressive. But they could just not have the trap in the first place, since it's extremely painful and forces the badger to be stuck for a long amount of time.

  • @MellowMink At least we agree on the trap :)

  • snares like this should be used in real survival situations only. If the badger was a nuisance there are less cruel ways of killing or trapping it. If you kill it, you should eat it

  • Where do all these fucking idiot hunters come from? You're so damn tough, ensnaring little mammals. Get the fuck out of here, fucking British-hillbilly pieces of shit.

  • this is the saddest thing i have seen in a long time.

  • There's something wrong with this badger besides the obvious snare. The badger I snared dug a hole eight feet in diameter and piled dirt three feet high. It wasn't hurt or incapacitated in any way other than being held behind the front legs by the snare. A healthy badger is one mean mother.

  • im a hunter, but that was bullshit. id beat that idiot with a stick.

  • The terrible plight of the badger which you talk about is no worse than what it would suffer at the hands of mother nature, eventually. The hours that it might have suffered in that trap before the trapper showed up to finish it off are nothing compared to what that badger would have suffered had it gone through a harsh winter and starved to death over the course of days or weeks.

  • wouldn't it be worse just to stare at it with a camera

  • "Inhumane"

....so HUMAN rights are being applied to a badger? Very well.....

  • badger badger badger mushroom mushroom

    badger badger badger mushroom mushroom

  • Win for humans!

  • did you ever think the badger was NOT the target species for the trap ? maybe it was too big for the trap to do the job.

  • I only use net traps that way if its a baby or something I don't want I can let her go

  • @splintercell334 long over due for the worst problem species on this planet, that is us

  • he didnt last long anyway before he chokd put i usually just hit the animaals i trap with a hammer until they die

  • I live in germany and here Badgers are endangered.

  • @Seelenfeuer666 because they have no profit value to humanity, if they were profitable fook theyd be everywhere, we term badgers as vermin in the UK but vermin, problem species and all that chit are just fancy words of saying a successful species not able to be used for profit.

  • Did the badger survive?

  • It's really terrible to see how the badger is suffering.

It must be a long time already for the badger to be trapped. He seems to be weak and despaired.

    Snares should be forbidden.

  • It's inhumane because the animal is suffering, not because it is hunting.

  • you seriously made a website. We are called hunters for a reason. If you think it is so ''Inhumane'' poke it with a stick and try to pet him.

  • did it live

  • inhuman huh go head then release him see how he gonna thank you stupid ass kid it will break your fott literly off if you dont like it go and help it out of the trap then put a helmet on

  • why are they using the word inhumane? its a animal used for food fur. it a tool just like nylon except it doesn't damage the enviroment

  • inhumane ? it was not a humane trapped... Mutch more sports too trap a humane "the hunter" in a similar trap 2 remind it off doing its kill swifter, ore let it think ower it..when it self is trapped like the 127h movie, i guess don't trap it iff udont eat it ore kill it (animal)..

  • Well you know snareing is the only way some people get food.so shut up.and your such the great one leting it choke itself to death instead of releasing it or killing it.

  • If u think it's rong help it or at least put it out of it's misery

  • y didnt u help it if u think its wrong

  • O dear thats so...... AWSOME maby poke it with a shap stick to really piss him off atleast thats what id do

  • @Redneckintraining1 oh, yeah, you're the one that likes it up the ass! boy, they still talk of your tight, you know... Saw you a couple of times on the street, and boy, you did the funny walk! hahaha, makes me still laugh!

  • @Redneckintraining1

Well you're a redneck piece of shit and a direct product of generations upon generations of incest. If anyone's been "poked" with a "shap stick" it's you. By your father.

  • @ChrisnSnoop wow princess that was cute you..... fag

  • @ChrisnSnoop What a great response. You completely failed to provide a good counter-point and instead went for immature sex jokes.

  • @Redneckintraining1 I'm sorry, but I just had to tell you that you're username is the best one I have seen yet.

  • did u help it or just let it suffer

  • @theblonde1198 His presence would have made the badger panic more, so in a sense, he made the badger suffer more. Trapped animals, knowing that they are stuck, will calm down without presence of a predator, ie, humans......this dumb fuck should have gotten in there if he was soooooo bothered, and without care for himself about being bitten, and released.......

  • So more the badger pulls the trap becomes more tight huh.

  • @lameristotel he strangled himself before i got around to it

  • for the people who dont like the video, i hope he lets it go in your house, then its your problem

  • @ethan2010ize Damb if i could say it better myself by the way Ethans a great name

  • if they are set corectly snares are very humane and kill very quickly. unfortunantly, there are some people who dont take the time to set their traps corectly or check them freqwently enough.

  • well why didnt it get let go huh? why would u just stand there and watch it struggle and flim it if u love animals so much

  • @Jondrawer because bagers will rip you a new one. you go play with one if ya dont belive me.

  • Whats wrong with it struggling for its life? NOBODY CARES!!!! Fucking tree hugers just die....

  • @jmiersmasexy You see, The Fucktard veggie head PETAphiles never seem to repent the fact that their very existance throughout their lifetime has caused the death and destruction of 100s of thousands of poor defenseless animals and their habitats to build and defend their veggie farms and houses, roads they drive on, make the clothes they wear, etc. yet they get angry when someone else kills an animal. WTF?? And this PETAphile bitch here doesn't care about the animals this badger slaughtered.

  • @jmiersmasexy As agonizing as it may be you have to put yourself in the mind of a fucktard animal-worshiping hippy PETAphile. To them the only animal they condone the extinction of is the humans. To them People are an aggressive invasive speciesthat needs to be culled and/or destroyed to save the planet. Actually, all humans except themselves of course. They justify their own existance regardless of how hypocritical they are because they believe their 'good intentions' allows it so.

  • BanAnimalLovingHippieKooks - Help make PETAphiles become extinct.

  • Support snaring! Fuck off u anti twats

  • lets just take care of the little bager 1. .22 caliber to the head 2. skin the badger 3. cook the badger 4. badger pot pie..what a treat..

  • Put down the camera and help it

  • @jmiersmasexy bollocks government regulation does not regulate what these vile monsters do out of the public view. I have come across many animals left to die long slow agonizing deaths in snares almost cut in half. I am appalled that you support this you are an abomination to humanity!

  • @jmiersmasexy hwat happens when YOU eat is very different to what happens when I eat being a veggie sir. if you think that snaring a protected species with an ever tightening wire that cuts deep into its flesh and leave the animal to die in agony is the circle of life then you need a psychiatrist sir!

  • @AnimalRightsUnited Just because your 'veggie' food can't run and scream for it's life as you rip it out of the ground alive tear into it's living flesh doesn't make you any better than someone who kills an animal to eat it. As least animals have some chance of escape while your veggies have none you cruel plant killing son of a bitch. You kill and eat the world most defenseless forms of life. How the fuck can you sleep at night.

  • @jburr36 I sleep very very well actually usually after amusing myself by typing in "Hunting Accidents" into google news and seeing how many of the degenerates have shot and killed each other that day. Ah yes hunting accidents is natures way of keeping the hunting population down.

  • @AnimalRightsUnited Your more than welcome to come by where I am and become a hunting accident yourself. By you addressing all hunters in your little comment addresses me also, which I don not take very lightly. So if you wish for us to not throw around absurd and angry comments as mine above then think before you type.

  • @gumshoemw animal rights people are uneducated pussys , who think they are so great cause they act like they care about shitty animals

  • u suck man these helped people get food when there was no stores dumbass i should find u and throw u in the wild with no food and see how long it takes u to build one

  • hunting is a way of life with out it in old times we would die with out it and your lucky u were even born your family could have died without food so i win stop talkin to me

  • @jmiersmasexy The movement to ban this depraved and satanic practisee is growing stronger every day

  • this isnt a proper snare trap the wire is to big and theres not tiger

  • Catching & hunting is a way of life ! humans hunted & killed animals thousands of years ago and only a few today hunt animals for food ! It's the circle of LIFE PEOPLE ! ! !

  • It may be an EASIER way of doing it but i love it and i will contiue to do it thank u very much.

Ps. i also use DEADFALLS TO CRUSH MY PREY

  • well snaring pretty much is banned unless your in a legit survival situation

  • i love trapping and snareing an who ever did that is awesome at it

  • @spikey4298 I take wire cutters with me everytime I walk the dogs in the woods and deliberately destroy all snares I come across

  • @AnimalRightsUnited you can be put in jail for that : vandelization of private property

  • @spikey4298 One mans crime is another mans saving the planet!

  • @AnimalRightsUnited not saving planet your taking away from us hnters/trappers the old way of our blood people like u are im done with this

  • @spikey4298 Its about time that savegery was abolished, trapping and snaring is the lazy man and the poachers way of hunting. So many animals are left to starve to death by to lot and some even chew their legs off because you are to drunk or drug fuelled to obey the law and check your traps. You have been exposed for what you are!

  • @AnimalRightsUnited

You're a bitch. That is someones property. Maybe you would like it if I came and cut your dogs leashes and collars? This is a way of life that has been done for YEARS. Then you people want to take it away from us, makes me sick that you don't realize that you HAVE to have hunting in order to keep the ecosystem in check. If we didn't hunt animals would take over the earth then what would you do? Maybe you should think before you act. Now put up the wire cutters.

  • @spikey4298 you are sick and epraved, nothing but a vile degenerate.

  • It might be cruel but welcome to planet earth... Why the hell didn't you shoot it and end its suffering or let the freek'n thing go insted of video tapeing it to serve your agenda. Kinda like Hitler say'n a few million Jews had to die for the bettering of the rest of the world. Its the same damn thing. Just on a much smaller scale. Let this one animal suffer while I tell every one look how cruel this is. You're a jackass...Traping , snareing or hunting. The end result is the same.

  • Just like the rose bowl... Lolz

  • Why dont free the badger?

  • This Europe man. Cant you see the badger. This is a American badger.

Seagulls are differend. In my town there are to many. Opened garbage bags. Falconery is the best answer to that problem.

This badger kind makes almost no damege.

It is always the human that makes the animal behaviour wurse.

If that guy was in my country and I found him. I would surely kill the poacher.

    Poaching is far illegal.

  • Laws laws laws. All we need are more stupid laws to take away our freedoms.

You know there was a guy in my city that went to jail and got a felony for running over a seagull in a parking lot.

Now jobless, he cannot get a decent job because of the felony he has for the rest of his life, because of a dead bird. Tell that to his kids and wife who are now bearly making ends meet because of the loss of income. The kids are the ultimate victims to stupid laws that psycho liberals endorse.

  • Ban snaring animals, why? C'mon, what is this world coming to?

Why don't you protest to stop people from being killed in un just wars, disease, hunger e.t.c. or do you not care for people because you really hate people and feel they deserve to die?

Trapping is done in seasons, there are open and closed times when to hunt. It is regulated by the Government where a Hunter/trapper is to set his traps and who is granted a license. So regualr citizens need not speak up!

  • i live in alberta. and my family has been raised with hunting, trappin, and fishing.. i go snaring rabbits with my mom. and i think there is nothing wrong with it..we hunt for food. not to be cruel or anything. i am an animal lover.. and i do have a heart..

but food is food.. no matter if it comes packaged or not

  • I agree with stienthor 100%

  • it wont matter if there banned becuase people will do it anyways

  • It's called wirecutters, and they can cut wire snares.

  • now thats a snare they do need to be stoped but leg traps are ok i live leg traping i wont give it up though!!!!

  • certain animals need to be controlled, a snare is a useful tool for such activity. a snare is very affective and as the film shows does exactly what it was designed to do. in stead of people campaigning to stop snares i think they should be made to come up with an alternative method of control which is more humane, then when they realize that there is not much alternative other than snaring they might except it .

  • hahah u should have killed him and made a hat.......trapping lives on

  • hahha u shoulg have killed the fucker and made a hat............

    p.people

    e.eating

    t.tasty

    a.animals

  • hahaha thats funny

  • Snares and traps are good, gets rid of the dangerous animals plus you get those unusual ones, for instance, i went to Australia and caught this funny stripped dog wolf thing in one of my 3 snares.

  • I wuldve tried to let it free

  • you can all fuck off i use snares when i trap and they are not that bad

  • it acts like a choker u get for dogs thats real inhumane alright if it acts like something u buy for your dog also u had no right setting the badger free its a federal crime to do that with out permession anti trappers break the laws while most trappers follow them

  • Comment removed

  • fuck all of you anti trapping societies

  • Not Badgers are a Pest

    Humans are a Pest!

  • why didnt you help him ???

  • @DAMMSE18 I dont have any problems. and whats a mumy? and you look like a fool the way youre talking. You see, the meat that you eat, well, what happens is the animal has no chance at all of survival. the stun it, slit its throat until it bleeds and then they skin it, gut it, and process it for you to eat. the animals we harvest have chances of survival, don't always get caught.and nature is much more cruel my friend. but you'll find that out in the streets when someone " busts a cap in yo ass"

  • shoot it ,,they are vermin and spead TB.

  • @DAMMSE18 no, but you thinking youre a gangster is. haha jerkoff

  • trapping is generally for survival situations, if it was between me and the badgers life i would eat the badger to live... yes its a little rough to watch but that's why you put it out of its misery as soon as possible. as far as I'm concerned badger is now on the dinner menu.

  • fuck you tree hugger

  • All trappers are IDIOTS! Stupit BASTARDS!

  • @DAMMSE18 Oh and learn how to spell. you look like an idiot...

  • @DAMMSE18 so then tell the friggin animal rights activists to stop putting animals through it. im a trapper and have been doing so for many years. these animal rights activists put animals through more hell than a trapped animal goes through. trapping and the animals we trap are a resource from mother nature. we do it responsibly. and for you to judge us on our lifestyle is not right of you.

  • horrible twat!

  • why the hell did you not just cut the cable? fact is you were afraid of that badger. your freaking insane to believe that these snares cause any real damage when placed and set properly. they are restraining devices just like the snare you put your dog in when you walk it in the park, the only difference is that your dog is domesticated and the badger is not. in fact i would not be surprised at all if you set the snare weeks before filming just to give trapping a bad name on you tube.. freak!

  • SNARES are used by WANKERS who are too stupid to do anything constructive with their time. What goes around comes around.

  • Ok guys i would not snare badgers. they are pretty cool creatures, but pretty much any other creature in my area is fair game.

  • hey guys just to update ya, i did end up snaring that raccoon that was tearing my garbage open, when i found him he was bloated and looked like a baloon from the sun. When i went to snap the branch off which i had my snare attached to i accidentally poked it and he deflated and let out a stink you wouldnt believe.Good times. See ya all later!!!

  • @blindside357 lmao!

  • ill say this. snaring for food in a survival situation is never a bad thing. leaving ur shit around cause ur lazy. makes u an asshole

  • Fuck advocatesforanimals. You don'ty give a fuck about animals; you just hate people!

  • Someone should go up to it and cut off that string that snared around it's head and neck

  • man thats awsome you shoulda killed it they carry tb who ever released it is gunna die of tb

  • @cablesphere LoL!!

  • theres a badger by my house i wana catch it or shoot it

  • @sc3n3cor3 hey man setup a snare buddy bait it and snare the fucker. these people are just pussies.

  • @blindside357 its in someones yard so id have to use a spring loaded one. =]

  • we eat animals snare traps are for not getting the meat tainted or punctured that was not snare though that was a spring snare what those are is to catch around the leg or chest area

  • It's a pity the labour government didn't ban snaring instead of hunting. The only place for snares is in an emergency survival kit

  • Snares arent really that bad compared to leg hold traps and such. Connibears, if used right, are the most lethal. They crush the animal in the same way a rat trap works.

  • I have no problem with snares as long as the animal is eaten. I don't know the circumstances around this particular trapping but there are people out there who simply cannot afford store bought food on a regular basis and rely on snares and many other traps, even today in the United States.

  • I'd like to see the film maker try to let the badger go. That would be fun. Hope you have some tranks for the badger!

  • Hey guys, im setting up a few snares tonight to catch a few racoons that keep ripping my garbage open. They will die. Thank you.

  • @blindside357 lmao niiice

  • you could have cut the line at least. and I would have to agree with stienthor animals are always in some kind of natural danger, what's so different about human danger. if you really wanted to protect it, reduce the mountain lion population, or the bear.

  • we have the same problem in belgium. my last clip is a badger in a snare, but he cries out from pain. i had to film it so people realize what damage these snares do. alas it is still legal in french-speaing belgium and we are now working to get the snare banned from the legislation. luckily you were there to help this animal.. ours wasn't so lucky, he died the following day, alas.

  • @sasacouchpotatoes did you eat him?

  • nice , i got one like this but he was not cought in the snare as i thought and whent i went to grab it it attacked me hhaha i jumped prutty hight that time hehe

  • ok people who are against this you have your own opnions and you should leave it that and leave us hunters and trappers alone we didnt do anything to you and we mind our own business some of things are what have kept humanity alive so please just leave us alone

  • I'v bin hunting the majority of my life but the only kind of trapping I approve of is of seafood, I know how to trap, but for survival reasons. In an emergency though I'm sure I'd still rather carve a spear and go hunt me somethin to stab.

  • You shouldent be going aroung leting animals outa peoples snares

  • while i understand and agree its not right for an animal to have to suffer you should not be advocating banning snares you should be advocating proper use of snares...... a good snare will kill a prey without making it suffer... stop hugging trees and learn to take care of yourself and be self relient! if that badger was hungry and wanted to eat you he wouldnt care if you suffer or not!

  • people against useing such things usually do not realize that animals live in a world of danger They do not think like us. and applying human logic or emotion to them does not work. prey animals live knowing what can happen to them. And some predators are devouring there prey even before it is dead So now should it be outlawed for those animals to hunt cause there methods are inhumane

that is the type of world they live and die in

  • @stienthor Animals, when they are attacked and killed, usually die fairly quickly. This badger was left there in agony for hours, possibly DAYS. That is not okay.

  • @stienthor that is a ridiculous argument. In nature an animal can usually expect a quick, clean death by a predator, but that does not happen with these traps, which are often used irresponsibly. By law they must have a stop-catch to prevent strangulation, and you must return to the trap within 24 hours of placing it. This snare was likely set by a farmer to catch rabbits, but as the video clearly shows, they are indescriminate and cruel, subjecting random animals to a slow lingering death.

  • @stienthor Why make their world worse? Besides, mammals do have emotions, just more primitive. I mean, how did we get emotions in the first place? We developed it more and more during our evolution.

I would say that animals caught in traps would feel pain, fear, panic and so on, just like a human being would if it were caught in a trap

  • @Pusimjau

They do, however, this is semi-normal for them. They don't live in a comfy house or condo.Snares are set up many different ways, some lethal, some not.Snares set for species such as beaver and raccoon are set to capture the body, and do little if any damage.

Every wild animal will eventually face a bloody and violent death. Some are just worse than others.Man is the most humane predator on the planet.Do you think a badger cares what its prey "feels" while its ripping it apart?

  • @chuck061980 We live in modern times. It is possible to survive without setting out torturing traps. The earlier we let those things belong to the past, the better I'd say. Besides, animals usually kill quick, fair and square for their own survival.
