It sucks bands like this aren't known in my area. Over here it's all about filthy Justine Beaver and other hip hop. I would totally love to have some real musicians together as a band, and cover this song to show California the beauty of folk metal.

@MarinVillalpando15 well actually this song isn't theirs. it was originally written by Valter Ojakäär and sang by Heli Lääts, but it didn't sound half as good as Metsatöll's version. actually if you don't know that they are one and the same:D but yeah, other Metsatöll songs are written by them and they are really great too. my favorite is ''Vaid Vaprust''(Only bravery). what's yours?

@ben8j5a3m2i1n El folk es uno de los géneros que a mí me encantan ya que demuestran la riqueza del Metal y su facilidad de integración con la cultura de los pueblos ya sean nórdicos, celtas, prehispánicos, etc. Y bueno, no cualquier oído lo aprecia talvez pero si lo haces puedes aprender mucho no sólo de música sino de cultura en general. Aunque no creas, hay muchas cosas que he aprendido gracias a que me he puesto a traducir y meditar las canciones de bandas que me gustan...

Una cosa que me encanta del metal es su versatilidad, y el hecho de que bajo este apelativo encontramos expresiones de toda clase, y el folk, especialmente el europeo, combina muy bien con el metal, creando paisajes sonoros que te hacen sentir las leyendas que hablan en sus letras. EL metal para mi ha sido un semillero intelectual incomparable, y gracias a él he logrado expandir mi conocimiento.

@ben8j5a3m2i1n Los Aborígenes eran buenos, lástima que en esa época la escena estaba menos unida y había además un montón de monos cag6dos que seguían "la moda", como en esos tiempos sonaba el rock nacional y el ska, andaban de chutes en los toques colándose sin pagar y haciendo desorden, algunos pensaban que ser rockero era ser un vivián y piratearse todo lo nacional, había apoyo en los conciertos pero no en la compra de música original. Ahora la escena ha evolucionado increíblemente.
@ben8j5a3m2i1n ... Ah y desde luego, ahora hay más unión con los demás países centroamericanos, eso me encanta. Nosotros sí nos consideramos hermanos y apoyamos las bandas y organizaciones rocker del resto de Centroamérica, México y Suramérica... de repente hay por ahí quienes critican según el género o el sonido que tiene alguna banda pero JAMÁS por la nacionalidad, nosotros no somos así y eso es bueno.

Jejeje, no, no es casualidad que hayas sido criado escuchando clásico y ahora te guste el Metal y el rock, de hecho es mi mismo caso, a mí me ponían música clásica de pequeña también. La música clásica desarrolla el oído y el buen gusto musical, y el rock se integra perfectamente con este tipo de música... más que de música, de arte, diría yo.

@ben8j5a3m2i1n Ashhh, "La Fiesta Figüey" (antes Frigüey, antes Freeway), comenzaron tocando un ska bien ching0n y terminaron tocando cumbia bajera. Esos REDD fueron otros... lástima, ellos sí llamaban mara (la gente está perdida si cree que solo TKF ha llenado la Plaza Merliot, eso el ROCK nacional lo logró PRIMERO), pero también se arruinaron después del Bolo y Solo.
Ahora la escena está unida porque a los rockers nos interesa cultivarnos y evolucionar como personas. Hemos crecido mucho :)

This is the theme song of a tv series about Estonia's history. It's a cool song.

@MarinVillalpando15 well actually this song isn't theirs. it was originally written by Valter Ojakäär and sang by Heli Lääts, but it didn't sound half as good as Metsatöll's version. actually if you don't know that they are one and the same:D but yeah, other Metsatöll songs are written by them and they are really great too. my favorite is ''Vaid Vaprust''(Only bravery). what's yours?

@ben8j5a3m2i1n El folk es uno de los géneros que a mí me encantan ya que demuestran la riqueza del Metal y su facilidad de integración con la cultura de los pueblos ya sean nórdicos, celtas, prehispánicos, etc. Y bueno, no cualquier oído lo aprecia talvez pero si lo haces puedes aprender mucho no sólo de música sino de cultura en general. Aunque no creas, hay muchas cosas que he aprendido gracias a que me he puesto a traducir y meditar las canciones de bandas que me gustan...

@patttymetalgirl Me encanta lo que dices, especialmente porque tienes muchísima razón. Una cosa que me encanta del metal es su versatilidad, y el hecho de que bajo este apelativo encontramos expresiones de toda clase, y el folk, especialmente el europeo, combina muy bien con el metal, creando paisajes sonoros que te hacen sentir las leyendas que hablan en sus letras. EL metal para mi ha sido un semillero intelectual incomparable, y gracias a él he logrado expandir mi conocimiento.

@ben8j5a3m2i1n Los Aborígenes eran buenos, lástima que en esa época la escena estaba menos unida y había además un montón de monos cag6dos que seguían "la moda", como en esos tiempos sonaba el rock nacional y el ska, andaban de chutes en los toques colándose sin pagar y haciendo desorden, algunos pensaban que ser rockero era ser un vivián y piratearse todo lo nacional, había apoyo en los conciertos pero no en la compra de música original. Ahora la escena ha evolucionado increíblemente.

Nosotros sí nos consideramos hermanos y apoyamos las bandas y organizaciones rocker del resto de Centroamérica, México y Suramérica... de repente hay por ahí quienes critican según el género o el sonido que tiene alguna banda pero JAMÁS por la nacionalidad, nosotros no somos así y eso es bueno.

Jejeje, no, no es casualidad que hayas sido criado escuchando clásico y ahora te guste el Metal y el rock, de hecho es mi mismo caso, a mí me ponían música clásica de pequeña también. La música clásica desarrolla el oído y el buen gusto musical, y el rock se integra perfectamente con este tipo de música... más que de música, de arte, diría yo.

@ben8j5a3m2i1n Ashhh, "La Fiesta Figüey" (antes Frigüey, antes Freeway), comenzaron tocando un ska bien ching0n y terminaron tocando cumbia bajera. Esos REDD fueron otros... lástima, ellos sí llamaban mara (la gente está perdida si cree que solo TKF ha llenado la Plaza Merliot, eso el ROCK nacional lo logró PRIMERO), pero también se arruinaron después del Bolo y Solo.
Ahora la escena está unida porque a los rockers nos interesa cultivarnos y evolucionar como personas. Hemos crecido mucho :)

@patttymetalgirl te voy a decir algo la escena ha crecido porque desde hace uno seis o cinco años atras empezaron a venir bandas pesadas a C. A. y debido a experiencias pasadas como en el concierto de dos minuto y de misfist y otros en donde el imperio del "relajo" era el que imperaba eso es vez de que el verdadero rocker evolucionara "involucionó" hoy la historia es diferente pero por puro HUEVO sino aun estariamos en la edad neolitica del metal salvadrño hoy al menos estmos en la d bronce XD

Gracias a Dio no estuve ahí, porque el punk casi no me llega y es por la chusmita que va a esos toques, son los mismos monos cag6dos (ahora ya grandes) de los que te hablé hace rato, andan viendo a qué entran de choto y a quién joden, hacen desorden dentro y fuera de los eventos y manosean a las chavas X-( Eso sí me enoja mucho. Por eso yo tb les coreaba "A LA MI3RDA, A LA MI3RDA..." cuando los corrían de la Arena. Claro, no todos son así, pero sí la mayoría.
