No matter how many people think about his death and cry, they'll never be able to stop crying it felt like you really were a real person and that all of us got to know you as a friend though you are fictional, its almost like you have really existed and your death was so....sad and everytime someone will think of you they try not to cry but your like a friend figure to those who palyed the game and those who did not, your story of heroism and believing in your dreams...is real..i always cry.....

Cloud was a hero because he was weak, but he stood up to his fears and his weakness despite knowing that he couldn't win.

Dude, Cloud is the 2nd most broken character mentally and emotionally of all time (unless I'm forgetting somebody, I put Xion from KIngdom Hearts at #1). To be honest, it's a wonder that he didn't go insane with what he dealt with.

One of the saddest game endings I have ever played. I loved Zack so much and it was so hard to just watch him die. You see it a little in VII but actually SEEING it was...too much.

As nerdy as it is to say, I kind of felt like I lost a friend when he died :(

I would also like to add, though few they are out there are there games built off our history, so in some ways each game holds reality within the world of virtuality. A source has to come from somewhere, and be that source from the imagination or through a true story told to generation to generation. Everything has a purpose, no matter what.

It doesn't exactly matter if he was real or not. The makers who did Zack had Honor, Loyalty, Pride, Dreams, Trust, Hope, and so much more in mind. Yea Zack may be just a character, but the fact he was made to play a role such as that and was made to be an example plays more in the cards than what the eye sees. Real or not, Honor, Pride, Dreams, Truth, Loyalty and so on ARE REAL in the world... and Zack also was a symbol of telling us that we make our own choices, not others making them for us.

Zack was an honest person who fought for what he believed in, and the message here is always defend your beliefs and fight for what is right. IMO

This was an emotional ending, especially since I was such a huge fan of FFVII and Cloud. I would have cried had I not been on a busy train from London to Brighton. Was covered in Goosebumps with a massive lump in my throat though, had the ticket man came, I may have broken down.

The thing i liked about Zacks character in CC was that he was very childlike early on but you watch him grow through tragedy. His entire time in soldier seemed to be tragedy after tragedy, the scars he held were evident after each tragedy, most notably when he had to fight Angeal. His personality seemed to change greatly after that. Zack grew into a true hero

When I first found out about the whole Zack cloud thing years ago I was like Wow,Cloud use to really not be strong at all.He always had that little spark of toughness and helping friends but he was really weak.After the experiment and his past along with wanting to help people he became the Cloud we like now.

But, when Cloud was implanted, so was Zack with the same experiment. It's just that Zack didn't react to the experiment and Cloud did.
