he didn't break his neck, I'm reading the book, they thought he did, but when a really trained medic looked at him, he just suffered from neck and head trauma, but broke bones elsewhere.
and yeah, I just found out he didn't die. I also found it wasn't the RPG that caused him to fall. The movie is a little off on what REALLY happened. go read the book.
