Nice, my dad picked me up from school in his mates B10 V8 today, was on the motorway, behind traffic, 40mph, no good, foot down, wait for the kickdown, straight to 100, no hesitation.
Yep, the rate at which they pick up speed is so intense that sometimes you don't realise how fast you're actually going until you glance at the speedo, which is normally followed by applying the brake ;)
My dad picked me up in it, with all 800+ of my schools students walking out the gates, every single one of them, jaws dropped, when it started up. I just watched the speedo the whole time, there was a woman in a puma in front of us, once she realised how quickly we caught up to her, she got out the way :D
I was at the Sytner track day driving this B10 and I don't remember seeing a sideways B10 there. See my other videos to see onboard footage of that day.
Ha ha ! he was going on about getting less than 10 to the gallon !!
Impressive machine though !

I got the same Alpina, the tacho 300 kmh is not a problem, but real speed at that time on GPS was only 275 kmh :-(

Sounds ace! I know the car, we looked at it before buying this one. Does it still have the AA (or is it RAC) badge on the front grill?

Nope, i don't remember seeing one, its light blue, without the Alpina detailing, cream leather, fully loaded, glass sunroof and aircon etc...
