I remember my babysitter Kathy Stone sings this song as she held me in her arms dancing around the living room. I was 5 years old at the time, I'm sure she was thinking of some boy she liked at school. She too had dark brown hair and beautiful brown eyes. She was 12-13 during that time in 1961-1962. It was Joni James on the record with Kathy singing right along not missing a word. Those were the days.

MGM lost a lot of their masters, it is really a shame, they did the same thing with Connie Francis too

This seems to be the original 45 rpm single; it was remixed for the album "More Joni Hits." The original stereo single of "There Goes My Heart" is even more extremely mixed; it too was remixed for the L.P. Though these were her first stereo singles, and "There Goes My Heart" was the first stereo single on any label, Joni was recording singles in stereo as far back as "Nothing Will Ever Change."

Joni was one of the greatest voices of all time.  I grew up in the 50's and she was

the absolute best.
