Also the best Saturn games are Japan only because the American branch of Sega didn't want 2d games on the Saturn despite the obvious fact that it was the Saturn's strong point.
This is one of the best games based off a movie ever! I miss playing this on y SNES. I'm just saddened how I could never beat it and that my dad sold it. I am stuck with the 360, Wii, and PS3. I am that sad.
The game isn't actually all that bad its just that you kinda suck at it no offense.
Also you do NOT have the ability to play every single game ever created even when you do have X360, PS3 and the wii as big as those libraries are you are still missing a lot of games for the systems like the Saturn or whatnot.
A strong enough PC can emulate all of those, not unlike what I am doing here. Although, it is admittedly hard to find roms for the more obscure systems.
That's the thing. EVEN with a strong enough PC you cant emulate a system like the Saturn just because of how ass backwards(or brilliant) the hardware is. There are countless arcade games that cant be emulated despite the fact the game itself is perfectly intact in a rom form and the system board design is known. The difficulty in emulating games on a different system in not power of the system but how well the differences in hardware is compensated for through the code of the emulator.
instead of debating the possibilities, I just grabbed yabause and a sega saturn bios and emulated duke 3d on saturn. It had plenty of graphical issues, but it was in fact running.
I'm willing to bet the only reason there are few improvements to saturn emulators is because there are few saturn games people really care about enough to emulate. Good as those games may be, they're very low in number, as many of them were ported elsewhere anyway, or simply ports themselves.
Okay then. If you are willing to deal with the flaws with the emulation then I cant debate with you about how well it can be done. Just remember the BC PS3's has software that emulates the PS2 but it cannot function without the actual PS2 hardware on the motherboard to act as a buffer zone for the software. My point is that you can have all the power you want but it means nothing if the the emulator itself doesn't compensate well enough for the differences in hardware.
Relatedly, I've already emulated PS2 as well to play FFX. It was running slow when I tried, but there were no actual flaws going on.
The fun fact is that Wii emulation is great! Not only does it run mario galaxy, it runs it at a better resolution than the wii does, with anti aliasing, which the wii can't do!
I like your thoroughness, I'm the same way with games

You're sad that you have the combined power to play every single game ever created up to this point?

@ZetaPlays
Yeah, well, basically that I can't play the old games no more cuz I dont have them no more, but I hope they have this on the virtual console for Wii.

Hardware BIOS comes in rom form, and is entirely the reason why saturn emulation works. Saturn BIOS comes in the flavors E, U, J, 1.00 and 1.01
