While I will readily admit that I don't have that much experience in regards to Les Rallizes Denudes, I don't really see it as "ripping off". To me, it's more "quite similar" as opposed to "ripping off".
Lightning Bolt's basslines remind me more of the Contortions than anything else, really. Just.. with more distortion.
But of course, I may just be slightly biased since I like Lightning Bolt quite a bit.
