well you see I've been chewed out so many times on youtube for giving actual long crit and advice, that I sometimes feel like I'm wasting my time, so when i see a video that shows a lot of potential I tend to poke just a bit to see if anyone is listening, and if it seems like they might actually listen, then I'll go into more detail... so I keep my comments short and to the point so I don't waste any effort on people who might not want it... not to mention I'm used to a much harsher forum.

so you left the really bright stuff masked over the really dull stuff on purpose? it would have looked more realistic if you had tried to make the colors match instead of making them stand out so much. the black and white parts were alright, and i even liked what you attempted to do with the pink ribbon.

However the "hug" scenes looked really off cause Tidus was so colorful and Areth was like desaturated, if you had desaturated the Tidus scenes until he matched the Areth scenes then it would have looked better.

and as for the masking, there were some parts like the ribbon scene where the areas seemed to move outside of where they were supposed to be, and in some cases the way they moved didn't make the characters blend into the scene, that's why I said it needs work, the masks were good for a start, but they really could have used some frame by frame refinement... sorry for all the posts, comment limits and all O.o
