The possibilities are insane. Somewhere out there, are they beings, mammals & primates just like us? With fish, amphibians, reptiles and birds? Could they be a planet were dinosaurs evolved and are still alive...new types perhaps? Same as ours? Or completely different lifeforms who have evolved in a completely different way or slightly different? Man its crazy. Too bad I may not live long enough to know the answer.
I just read The Eerie Silence by Paul Davies. He's worked for SETI for decades. I'm not sure if he's a Christian but he seems to be skeptical about there being (intelligent) life elsewhere. It's a good book.
I want to say I'm really glad I found your channel, I'm really enjoying your videos! I was looking for 'Penn gets a bible' clip when I ran across you.
I agree with your initial comment, it's VERY unlikely there's 'not' life out there somewhere and how sad would that be if there wasn't? I'm not sure if you've seen philhellenes video titled "Science Saved My Soul".. it's a must see! (it's featured on my channel) I thought about it when I saw this video. Have a good one!
@sheri226 thank you for your lovely comments, and i will definitely check out that video :) another couple of documenteries you might be interested in.

@Cresitan258 Tell this to your friend (I tried it on one of mine). If there are life on 1/8 planets, life can be found anywhere. If we go as far as assuming life only exist on one planet in an ENTIRE galaxy, there are probably millions upon billions of planets with life on them.
However, if your friend honestly think that the planets in our solar systems are the only planets, by him an astronomy book, :)
@Cresitan258 Wow, did your friend ever go to school? My husband is a non-practicing catholic, and he learned about evolution in school. Only if a person is home-schooled could they possibly miss that.
In school they told me elephants were big, really really big, LOL.
But seriously though, just imagine, if our ENTIRE universe is just a buble. If its at the size of what an atom is to us. Think how big the ""outisde"" (outside of the buble) is.

There is life on other planets. We just haven't found such planets yet that have living beings like us. When will we? Who knows?

If people watch this and still think God is real, they are retarded.

In my opinion this video doesn't give how big the universe is as much justice as Stephen Hawking in his serious "into the universe" does.

Blows my mind. There has to be life out there in some form or another. Love it!

our brains simply cannot fathom just how big the universe is. there simply has to be other life somewhere, to say there is not is just ridiculous.

The estimated size of the universe is 930 Yottameters, we can only see 140 or so Yottameters..
..my friend, who is catholic, said there can be NO life on ANY other planet because there are only 8 in the entire universe..
..he knows nothing of this universe because he's so brainwashed by his religion..
