But this breed hasn't been seen working in a very long time.
According to my sources, the Dandie Dinmont has never been a working terrier-- it's based entirely off fictional dogs in Sir Walter Scott's Guy Mannering. Most likely, this dog is a glorified turnspit.
This is just another weak, emotional reaction to Pedigree Dogs Exposed.
