I have one on these, very well made and in the USA. Great job Steve and Ben. Not a stove meant for a wennie weight hiker, but the versatility is great. Look forward to your test Hiramcook
Nice review! I recently acquired one of these but I didn't get the grill or boiler plate with mine. Did your friend hip you as to how to get it separately? TIa
Their either crazy or confident if they sent it to you to test. I'm looking forward to watching some new videos. One question I have...are any of the edges sharp?
Take a look at the "honey stove" there are plenty of videos on youtube, it gives you so much flexability and weighs less than half that of the folding firebox (only 339g). It's what I use and I love it.
Seems a little bit big. Sitting here wondering if they should have made it a little bigger and marketed it to a different group/families. It will be interesting to see you run it through the Hiram tests. Merry Christmas to you sir.
Hey, man i talked to you nearly 2 years ago when you commented on my channel!, you were the first to comment. anyway i lost my account to google "linking accounts thing" that happened idk 1 year ago? maybe a little longer, now i got my account back
Glad to see your still uploading and Merry Christmas to ya!
Seasons greetings Hiram! Love your tests on stoves and cooking. Keep up the good work, and best wishes for the New Year! I am looking forward to your Firebox tests.
That looks like a good stove. It sure would last you a long time. It does look like they have thought of every thing. Here's a tip for you. When you use the trangia burner and a bigger pot then I think you should raise the burner up with the two rods and then just put the pot on the top of the stove. That would save taking the two other metal rods with you.
thanks for the review, looking forward to the trail test

If you decide to start testing more wood stoves I would love to see the Emberlit stove in the future.

@ShePreps2 The grill and boiler plate are still in testing but should be available very soon at folding firebox.com with no space

Looks great but for hiking purposes I'd really like to see a titanium version that is about 25% smaller.

@mostcanwait A titanium version is in the works and should be available first part of the new year. We are shooting for under one pound.

Looks like a great design of firebox. For long term living outdoors it could be perfect for the job.

Hi Hiram
can you do a test with tinder, it would be intresting to see what it goes like, and how long it takes to boil.
