Nirvana is one thing, is in a place that nobody can touch. POM is a really nice band and i don't think they want to be the "New Nirvana". Ok, we can see clear the influence that Nirvana has on POM, but any "new" sound that appear in this world will be influenced by someone, that's a fact. Just enjoy the music, don't look for discover a new and extraordinary sound, if it makes you happy, do it.

Who cares. Nirvana was one of the worst bands ever to appear on the music scene. They weren't a talented band, Kurt Cobain was not a lyrical genius and they were incredibly overrated in every possible way. Had they kept going, they would've faded away and went back to playing small clubs. So many better bands came out of that time period.
