No Issue. I was raised in a Christian home and I lost my faith before it ever got really started. But When Christians show up at these "gay rights" parade with thier signs all it does it fire them up more and encourages the parade participants to engage in even more outrageous conduct then they already do.

RepentofSin, PT 1-U did refer to a translation/KJV (The KJV has several revisions. UR original use of "KJV 1611" is an error of KJVO advocates), & said U haven't found an error in the KJV itself. If U aren't KJV Only person, best to say the originals, or manuscripts (whichever U may think R perfect, but best chance w/ originals). KJV & the manuscripts used for it R not perfect. Non-KJV Only people usually say "without error in the original manuscripts" in statements of faith, for example.
The revision were spelling updates. pre 1611 didn't have as many words as they did in 1611, that was before the english language was fully developed. Until you can show error in the KJV , they it is without error, the burden of proof is on you.
Repent PT 1- U use a similar answer as many Mormons do with Book of Mormon changes. There were several revisions, not one, to the KJV. KJV & BoM-some were that, but others were changes of substance to both books. Who gave U that weak gloss over of the KJV? See next post for some examples of KJV changes.

Isa 40:22 is referring to the projection of the sphere of the earth onto a plane, which is a circle. You don't "sit" on a sphere. You sit on a circle, which exists in a plane.

According to many interpretations of the Bible and other scriptures homosexuality has been viewed as wrong, deviant, unnatural, etc. which has okayed bigotry, alienation, violence and death for centuries against homosexuals in many people's minds. I don't think that there is any doubt that "strongly", "vehmently", "violently" opposing homosexuality has subliminially condoned widespread prejudice against homosexual and BTW is completely opposite of Jesus' teachings of love and tolerance.

If U R thinking of a word in the Bible KJV or otherwise, then you can use the English translation word to find the Greek word, and go from there-Do U want to know the closest to the original writers? I am not trying to look up a greek word in a greek dictonary. I trust that the Lord is able to not only inspire His word but Preserve it. So if i want to look up a definition in a KJV bible I go to a dictonary that is closest to the KJV time. An english speaking person is not going to go to a greek text to learn about God, they will go to an english Bible.

Preacher-my replies have several times specifically asked for where in the Bible does it say 'God would presrerve his word' in a translation, NOT on the issue of preservation itself. The way to know that a version is not of God is in the contradictions. The KJB does not have any. I have a study on my website under the articles section called The Word Of God. U can have truth, but maturity comes from wodsdom & knowoijg how to treat & respect people. It's hard sometimes, and I ain't perfect, but it is good & it's biblical. Repent PT 2-Neither verse says a short time. 1 Tim 4:2 gives no time table at all. Rom 1:28-reprobate is debased/not passing the test, and gives no time table. U misunderstand both verses. U & no one knows the time table, and it is best to leave that alone. U said "getting VERY small" & that assertion is foriegn to those passages.

The best is going to Greek, aince that was what the NT was written in, and helps are there to assist in studying it, even if we don't know the Greek. RepentofSin, PT 1 of 2-KJV translators did not believe the KJV was perfect (Original 1611 Preface). U need to much more than simply read it to find out if it has errors, mistranslations, etc. The KJV is certainly not a perfect translation.

How pro-Gay Advocates Misread The Bible" & "Strong Delusion" (on the professing gay Christian movement) and Alan Chambers, "God's Grace and the Homosexual Next Door". On the Bible, claims by GBLT-affirming side, the attitude & mindset Christians should have about those who are GBLT, etc.

RepentofSin-U don't need books to get taught? 1 Cor 12/Eph. 4:11-Teachers to teach-written or spoken. UR imperfect-all need to have help from others who read/study. U can't be wrong on interpretation? Proverbs states the wisdom of listening to different people. U listen to imperfect pastors? Bible studies? Do U think U R perfect, so U can't be helped? If U think U R imperfect, then U can use help from Christians-in person/pulpit/written. UR view is biblically dangerous & anti-biblical.

All that I need is the word of God. I am not interested in a person's opinion on anything. I have no problems with teachers who teach out of the Bible, not out of some textbook. The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Psalm 111:10, Prov 1:7, Prov 9:10.

Repent, if a teacher teaches from the Bible, it is hte same if U read the srrmon in trnascript form. That's the essense of a book- they can teach from the bible, it's written instead of spoken.The books I recommended go into the Bible, and other thuings surrounding homosexuality. RepentofSin, PT 3- 1 Cor 6:9 KJV:"abusers of themselves with mankind". If we take it as in the KJV, it refers to behavior, not attractions, (homosexual means attractions). Greek is from 2 words man&bed- male to male sex activity. Christians can have the attractions- if they change it would be mostly/always gradual.

If a person still conduct in the Homosexual act, i would question their salvation, because of the Lack of Repentence. Repent, I used the KJV & Greek- those who are homosexual in their attractions can become Christians, whether they still have the attractions or not. People fall in various ways, so it isn't a different standard for that than gluttony, pride, ungodly speeach or attitude (Col 4:5-6, 1 Cor 13:4-5, Eph 4:15) etc.
Change does not mean perfection, of course.

RepentofSin, PT 1-U did refer to a translation/KJV (The KJV has several revisions. UR original use of "KJV 1611" is an error of KJVO advocates), & said U haven't found an error in the KJV itself. If U aren't KJV Only person, best to say the originals, or manuscripts (whichever U may think R perfect, but best chance w/ originals). KJV & the manuscripts used for it R not perfect. Non-KJV Only people usually say "without error in the original manuscripts" in statements of faith, for example.

The revision were spelling updates. pre 1611 didn't have as many words as they did in 1611, that was before the english language was fully developed. Until you can show error in the KJV , they it is without error, the burden of proof is on you.

Repent PT 1- U use a similar answer as many Mormons do with Book of Mormon changes. There were several revisions, not one, to the KJV. KJV & BoM-some were that, but others were changes of substance to both books. Who gave U that weak gloss over of the KJV? See next post for some examples of KJV changes.

LightningSky93, if Christians respond correctly, they will believe it is sin to have sex or romantic relations with the same sex, but they will share & speak out of love & concern, not hate, and speak with grace or graciousness: Eph 4:15, 1 Cor 13:4-5, Col 4:5-6, etc. They can be plain and clear, without hating. Bible teaches to warn others, lead them to truth (whether bible is true or not)

I think the reason so many Christians don't believe in evolution is that so many of them missed that boat and never evolved. There's nothing on Earth more telling of the destructive force of religion than hateful Christians. Heterosexuals have spent thousands of years perfecting deviant behaviour.
