I KNEw iT! I got a Sony DCR myself and therefore I'm familiar with the clicking sounds both of the DVD and the tripod, sometimes a bit annoying... if Sony removes those clicking sounds and the lens problem at around and above 30x zoom it would be a perfect cam for amateurs :-)

And to anyone who is non believer i would suggest that atleast devote few months of always keeping an eye out in the dark sky. I believe there is some relation to them with night but you could still see some in daytime. But it could take a day or a year. but in a year ull see for sure. but only if you got sometime. now i dont. but wish i had

But i still remember 2 years back seeing a giant ufo lights in the mid night and even though i was looking for ufos since long , here it was on front of me totally paused at a height and was surely a km long i simply walked away after watching it for 10 minutes. Reason coz i was bieng rediculed by my collegues for bieng wiered. I had no camera, n next day i bought a new one but never saw it again

Yep! That's what they look like in daylight. I've seen them down by Cottonwood, AZ and they were the same color. If they were closer you would see the color changing from red to pink, then to white and light blue, then back red. The ones that I saw looked like they were just playing with each other, and then they took off in flash. Balloons don't travel that fast unless they're in a hurricane. These weren't balloons.

Saw something exactly like this, moving across the sky in a straight line. We watched it move slowly in a straight line, but VERY high, for almost 10 minutes. Happened on the 10th of Oct, a long way east of you (to be non- specific about location) Thanks for posting this. Helps me deal with the reality of what I saw, which was surely not a balloon! It looked JUST LIKE THIS. Wow...

Hey, excellent catch of something strange. If you ever see these or anything strange again way up there, try this method. Take your camera out of automatic focus mode. It cant focus on tiny objects that far away. Use manual focus, try this method out first on some high flying jets to get a feel for it. Your camera zooms in well, it just gets out of focus. Thanks for posting the video.
