What a beautiful video. Which line has the most elevated miles of track? How many miles? Thanks DART for being forward-thinking, it does wonders for DFW.
@SanDiegoInnOut Currently, the Green Line has the most miles of elevated track with a total of 7 miles, 5 miles north of downtown Dallas and 2 miles south of downtown Dallas. The Orange Line will have close to the same mileage of elevated track once it opens later this year.
@Nikostinko The schedule for the A-train will not be finalized until DCTA tests the schedule with trains. Pre-revenue testing began in late May and a schedule will be released to the public in early June. Go to the DCTA A-train website for more information.
Trip time on the DART Green Line between Trinity Mills and West End stations is approximately 39 minutes.
Lol, introducing the new high-speed "bullet train" LRV, the revolutionary new way to commute in and out of Dallas! :P In all seriousness, I love riding DART, I think it is by far the nicest light rail system in the U.S., I can't wait to ride the Green Line and the new Orange Line as well when it opens.
I won't be riding DART anymore. I ride the green line every Friday to school and I don't know if it's the driver, but every Friday, they've been breaking like crazy. It's only a matter of time till someone gets hurt and I know that's NOT normal, because I've been riding DART for years.
Great video. The system reminds me of a heavy rail system even though it's light rail. In fact, it reminds me of Metro in DC as a rapid transit/commuter system.

@Nikostinko About 45 mins to an hour on the train. About as long as it takes in a car during rush hour.

Haha! Those cheap kinkisharyos can't go 60. Maybe 30 but that's it. SEPTA has the best equipment. Their can go excess of 70
