Chaps was 7 years old in this video. He is now 8 years old. Chaps is 80 pounds. I would think that 40 pounds is average for a 7 month old. Hope you have a lot of fun with your hound!

My mom and I had two bassets: Flash and Daphina. They had three litters together. He was 65 lbs. She was about the same, but less muscular and more fat - just baby fat that she didn't lose. They had an incredible love affair.
