i was no less then 5 and getting ready for school when the plane hit the tower on live news.I may of been 5 but i knew that a fucking 747 was not suppose to go into a building.It traumatized me my mom was crying my dad was in shock. my grandpa in disbelief.We will Never forget you all who died that day and let us have a moment of silence for the familys of the victims.R.I.P all of you. . .. i was 7 when 9/11 happend. i remember my mom comeing to my school crying saying that some bad men are attacking our country. i live in michigan and she was afraid she didnt know who they whould target next. i got home i didnt really understand but i watched the news i saw the 2 other buildings attacked includeing the twin towers. i didnt know what terrorism was

I live about an 2 hours from NYC.. My mom turned on the news, Seen it.. Woke me up.. She was like Jen look on the T.V. and as soon as i seen it, I had etars falling down my face... Me and my hugged each other crying.. I felt like a part of our world was torn apart.. My heart go out to all their family's and the people who passed away on 9-1-1-.. May god gives them wings.. Notice the areal view of the buring Pentagon building comes in at 7:36 (the time is 9:41 am - 4minutes after the Pentagon attack) and the commentator keeps talking for about 30 seconds even after the new view is shown. They then proceed to give the false bomb report. It just goes to show how confused and in shock everyone was.

Just a question regarding the footage from 1:40 to 2:04

Before and after it's footage obviously taken by a helicopter. You see certain dynamics caused by the flight maneuvers.

The footage mentioned above looks like it was taken from a camera placed on solid ground with a tripod, no shaking, moving etc. is recognizable, but this is impossible!!! You can see the north tower's roof. As the WTC was the highest building in New York there was no place you could have brought that camera into position.

Hmmm, i can't honestly understand crying over this. Maybe its because I'm not a new-yorker and i was young when it happened but it really seems no different than any other instance of implacable suffering and injustice. I cry more when i read about the holocaust, for instance...which happened far away, many years ago. This has, i'll be honest, the same emotional impact as a mugging that ends in murder. Just a senseless act of violence...

watching this video brings back all the horror and terror i saw that day. i worked in east village at the time. my aunt worked for Gooding-Harding law firm WTC South Tower 87th floor. i had no idea i watching her fall to her death when i saw the south tower collapse. i really miss her and i know her spirit is with my family. Ground zero is sacred ground to us. So many bodies, no caskets, no decent funeral for no one. God Bless all.

I was in my freshman history class when we this happened. A teacher ran down the hall yelling to turn on the news we flipped it on and stared shocked thinking it was a freak accident. Then the 2nd plane hit and we knew then that it was something more. All we could do is sit and cry. I will never forget that day!
