@satinisthree When heard from far away, it has that eerie/hellish sound similar to the K3LA of a Canadian Via Rail F40PH-2s passenger engine. 8680 sounds a little lower/minor in pitch, though.
The locomotive that was starting must have been in an auto shutdown while sitting, and the engineer didn't give it enough time to crank before he started moving.

@Locomotive450 Yeah. I was In a GEVO once and It was on the auto start/stop cycle. Interesting how much the move when they crank up.
