This was poorly done...sorry. Mushniks shop was great though. Probably would've been better if Seymour hadn't overgestured so much and they weren't off key.
I'm sorry but that was badly done.. They were both off key... They tried way to hard to get laughs then stay in character... Im sure this would be funny if you know them, but just watching this makes me not want to do the show...
Good job! I loved the Seymour. I played Seymour and I wish I could of been like this one. The Dentist was done well too. I thought maybe he could of had a more convincing drop dead thing, but overall great. Great touch at the end with Twoey slurping, and the bucket of blood. Nice!
God, they're talking to the audience. GET OVER IT. I personally thought this was amazing, very organized, fantastic sets and props, and loved it! Well done everyone who was in this <3
uhh this is not good. sorry. the actors kept looking into the audience... and vocals arnt very well, i went to see little shop of horrors at a local school and their dentist was absolutly amazing! good shop CORDANADO<sp? but they rocked the dentist was my fav. character! so yeah and its funny to see all the different kinds of gas masks they came up with ive been watching videos and del sol and coranado has had the best ones... sorry i dont know how to make one.
For those who are what I like to call "Theatrically Impaired"...
In many productions, especially those who do not dwell in the subject of realism (A giant talking plant definetly is not within the realms of realism) it is completely normal for the actors to gesture or even talk TO the audience. Hence the many many monologues in Little Shop of Horrors.
kk were doing this musical in decemeber and i play seymour, for 1 orin isnt supposed to be scared when seymour takes out the gun, and 2 the seymour here, needs more practice on singing..
LSHS stands for La Sierra High School.... lol LSH is Little Shop of Horrors... and Seymour is raised by a jew..... plus Jimmy played Tevye in Fiddler on the ROof... come now...
That's a very good dentist.

This my favorite song in the play.
the first part seymour sings seems a little slow but otherwise good.

i agree with you, seymour does seem a little drawn out

Rofl its called "cheating" in live theatre... you play to the audience... ::rolls eyes::

as far as the "looking into the audience" comment you made....um I'm guessing you have never been in a theatrical production before...

uh who says orin can't be a little scared? Its a musical, and its a character choice and/or a directoral choice.
dansonta 4 years ago 2
I agree, its the directors interpretation of the play, not exactly what the movie or the Broadway version is.
