@MrSmartyPants100 Btw, I realise you was taking the piss out of her, I was agreeing with you. Only realised how my comment looked when I re-read it lol
1. You should NOT teach people to use fondant if you yourself can not use it. 2. PLEASE learn the name of the tools you are using. 3. This cake only looks good to people who dont know what one is SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE. 4. Perhaps you should look into fondant and how to use it properly then make some more videos.
I use water to glue my fondant especially if im working with sculpting figures our placing small parts onto a cake....I think it works amazing and I don't have to worry about it showing.
seriously.... is she even using fondant? why the hell does she roll it so thin? usually you roll gumpaste thin for decor.... NOT covoring a cake. I've been doing cakes for like 2 months now, and not ONE looked that bad...
Hi XHershey. Once you have rolled your fondant out, get your smoother (looks like a concrete float) and run it round in circles on the fondant like you are cleaning a glass tbale top or something. You will hear a "shush" sound for a while. When the noise stops your fondant is ready. It will be perfectly smooth and have a slight sheen. Looks much better.
Oooooh yes! I do that everytime. I just didn't know that it was called "polishing." Coming from someone who is just learning--even I know how to do that and you can tell she doesn't do that with her cakes.
you should really classify your sequence with number, example: how to decorate a gift box part 1, part 2, etc. it´s complicated to keep the order of the chapters, please, your program is great!!!
Worst cake ever
