  • the highwayman son ecos del rocio en españa. ¿porque no se reconoce el country patrimonio de la humanidad?

  • Frank Zappa "only the lamest of lameness will thrive" unless we teach the young to appreciate what went before.

  • On the Western channel there's a song played throughout the

scenes of all the shows that are on there. Does anyone know

the title or the artist who sings it...Thanks for your help. *Country Girl*

  • mmh baby You not gonna be bored with me

  • Amen to the highwaymen I am a stable manager at a horse ranch in yuma az. love this song

  • I love this song. 40 years ago I was privileged to be a working cowboy for six months. Some of my fondest memories still come from those long ago days. By the way, singing to cattle does calm them down, no matter how good the singer's voice is, or conversely, how bad. Also, horses like to be read to, out loud, at least my two did. Perhaps, I had the intellectual kind. Oh, and cattle don't like to branded, no matter how thick-skinned they might be.

  • This is some of the best American music in any genre, both in composition and performance. All four of these bad guy gentlemen ROCK. Yup, It's country, but it is so much more.

  • true country music by four of the greatest exponents of the genre

  • I'm glad I did live through the time they were going strong and yes this is country at its finest!

  • cool I`m good looking babe, with great sense of humor

  • FOUR of the greatest country folks - no one even pretends to be the star !

    WOW - what talant

  • When I first saw them there were 4 Microphones and 4 singers. Next up 4/3 and now 4/2. Sad to see them gone. But I swear my Dad is having a Ball with'em up there.

  • 14 dislikes get a grip you losers

  • This song reminds me yet again that I was born in the wrong time period. What I would give to hear them live!

  • Damn!

  • Americas´s top four !! Love them!!

  • REMEMBER, OUTLAWS TOUCH LADIES ANY DAMN WHERES THEY WANT TO

  • They look at Willie like there about to kill him when he sped up that song, lol

  • Super! Love you forever xxxx

  • I really miss waylon, remember the first time I've heard that voice when I still was a kid. it was the song "take it to the limit". ever since I'm a waylon fan. and these 4 guys together is like heaven on earth. to relax I need to listen the country of them.

  • "hay willie, come to canada and smoke one with me"

  • @etcharrison

So true, both Waylon and Willie had the slicked back hair and the clean cut "Nashville" image in the 60's before they broke off and became the outlaws.

The whole 1970's outlaw scene in the south actually attracted so much popularity that by the 1980's Nashville had the "Urban Cowboy" scene which was like the inner city rip off of the cowboy. That's where honky tonk took off.

  • I miss them so much

  • man, what i would do to be at that show. I was still swimming around inside my daddy when they performed this :/ Long Live the Highwaymen!

  • Great Song... Sad part i when Willie & Kris are gone .... there will be no true cowboys left!

  • if I could just be half of the person these guys were / are.... where has our American heritage gone? sigh. In the hands of people like Obama...groan...We need you guys...we need you back to rouse us to wake up and take our country back.

  • HELP!!! There is a song that I've been searching for a long time now and I really need your help to find it. It says: " I've got all the love I need waiting at home for me. She's the sweetest angel I've ever known . She's a little bit of heaven..." I don't know the title of the song or the singer. Please tell me if anyone knows it.

  • I know this is a bold comment but I'll say what's on my mind. These 4 men together were better than the Beatles.

  • @MrBigrobmjca3 I would concur...but maybe not as great as the Stones. Exile on Main Street?

  • @MrBigrobmjca3 I agree!

  • @MrBigrobmjca3 that is a pretty bold TRUE statement

  • @MrBigrobmjca3 It doesn't take a lot to be better than the Beatles. That said....love this song!

  • @MrBigrobmjca3 I agree with that. I think the Beatles are over-rated. The Rolling Stones were better and so are the Highwaymen.

  • well its depresing that 14 people though this was a justin beiber song geuss thoes fags are depresed

  • sweet mullet willie

  • Surprising the place didn't explode with all that star power they had thar.

  • Just about the best country song ever!

  • If they send another space vehicle to look for life on other planets, The Highwaymen should be on a cd enclosed in the cargo bay.

  • Great song written by Ed Bruce

  • Incredible all these country legends togerther on stage, magical piece of musical history,

  • Lovin it great music

  • Lovin it great music

  • Lovin it

  • there's 13 communist Muslims that don't like this great American classic.

  • @kielbasaman1 Haha. one of them might be our own president.

  • @kielbasaman1 \\\.Up theres if they dont likethis song

  • @kielbasaman1 \\\.Up theres if they dont like this song

  • My favorite guys .... Waylon and Johnny ... WBA

  • God bless these guys. In the '70's when Disco & Punk were the "thing", I lived on a farm and we jammed a lot in the kitchen, just escaping the BS. People are still singing these songs, it's just that Corporate Radio sells to 12 yo's. Can you say Beiber & Gaga?

  • @verbaud Amen, you got that 100% right man.

  • This is the music of my life, I used to sing and play ,now I can only watch and listen and it still makes me happy and brings back as Kriss sings "The Good Times"

  • unfortunately this music- real music- is dying as is this way of life. this song tells the truth

  • This song makes me sad. To know that a way of life is slowly being extinguished.

  • @ScarecrowPuppet i have the same feeling. the world is going to fast

  • ők a világon a legnagyobb country legendák. örökké éljenek

  • waylon would turn over in his grave at athat over spening president..plain and simple

  • kris,,get that obama shit off your website you fag

  • @notfarc1 get fucked, you nazi prick. Love it or leave it, shithead.

  • @gtrrs71 fuck you and that marixist washed up has been..and fuck that pathetic president

  • @notfarc1 I will continue to listen to the opinions of a highly educated decorated U. S. Army officer that served his country during its most turbulent years like Kris did, as opposed to a dimwit like yourself that sits in front of Fox news channel , and really believes what the y are saying.

  • they have a great sound when they sing together i have a version where its just one of them i dont remember which but this one is way better

  • four great voices singin along

  • Glad this is here so we will all still always have them all in our own way.

  • Four of the very best musicians that ever walked on planet earth.

  • Thank God that I´ve saw them live twice in Sweden. Never forget those nights as long as I live....

  • You are so right badmoonryzn - this is what country is all about. It will never go away. I saw these bad boys in Melbourne in 1990 and they had the whole audience silent and spellbound untill the end of the song then all shit broke loose. Waylon and John paid their dues to music. Willie and Kris thank Christ are still in there. Warmest to you mate - Graham Melb Aus

  • 2 pieces of America gone, Johnny and Waylon, we miss you. Thankfully we still have Kris and Willie. Wonderful song.

  • you can buy this live show of the highwaymen at HMV.COM if anyone want if

  • This is real country, not the bubble gum crap they try to call county today. Any moron can add a steel guitar to pop and call it country. I am so glad that Johnny, Waylon, Kris and Willie got together for the Highwaymen. Good Stuff!

  • @badmoonryzn

Where did you acquire the wisdom for such an astute, accurate apraisal of todays' country?

  • @badmoonryzn I'm going to Willie's Fourth of July concert at Billy Bob's Texas this 4th of July. I'm only 15, and I can DEFIANTLY appreciate REAL music. Too bad it's almost all gone :/ But we still have outlaws- Jamey Johnson, Kevin Fowler, Brad Paisley, etc.

  • @badmoonryzn I like these guys a lot and grew up on them. Are you aware that these boys were basically thrown out of Nashville? Nashville and the group of 'real country" singers and their fans didn't like the tune. So, old Willy and the boys made an album called the Outlaws in the late 70's to show 'em their brand of country. Every generation has their group..........I really like these boys and their brand.

  • @badmoonryzn theres still great country out there open yer eyes

  • @badmoonryzn AMEN!

  • @badmoonryzn hey right now there is a lot of music that isn't what some of wouldn't call country.

but for the record Conway Twitty and Kenny Rogers were both considered cross over artist in the early years.

  • jhlindquist1 ----you are so right

Country is not what it used to be.I sure do miss these good okd Times.

  • Waylon and Johnny should have smoked more weed. Willie will outlive them all.

  • amazing great legends *****

  • immortals

  • in the original recording by ed bruce in 1980 willie nelson has a cameo

  • to the 14 who disliked this....gargle my balls

  • Jonny and Waylon are gone but even as a young man I still enjoy listening to their music and I enjoy playing it. These guys are the real reason why I grew up to be a cowboy. RIP yall you shall never be forgoten!

  • tthanks for sharing your music with us..............

  • Thank you fellas for all the memories!!

  • In NE Ohio and there was a park about 3 miles north of me. Until 2004 it was a place that a lot of country stars came to every weekend. Backstage there were big white panels that were covered with signatures from stars, band members, etc. Where Johnny and June signed is prominent. I worked there part time every weekend, the last time I was there I went backstage and touched the panel where Johnny and June rested their hands when signing it. The campsite is gone but the panels are safe.

  • True

  • A Great Song Done By The Best !!!!!!

  • this is the greatest group of singers to ever stand behind a mike

  • That would be one heck of a concert to be able to see the top 4 guys of country!! Be like once in lifetime be able to see that. Unfortunately for me, I won't get to see them, I was born in the wroong century haha. I'm only 23 but I prefer the older country music. I didn't get into country music till a fwe years back though so by then Waylon and Johnny were already gone.

  • That would be one heck of a concert to be able to see the top 4 guys of country!!

  • real last cowboy song....damn another piece of america is lost...rest in peace..

  • Real soul music.

  • love this.

  • Great group

  • 4 legends. elvis & hank would be proud !!!!!

  • A song whose name says it all... 'cause there sure aren't any "real" cowboys left.

  • The cry of the cattle drover, the bark, the yelp of the herding dogs.I can hear them thanks to the harmonious singing of the Highwaymen in this song.Take care ADonovan43

  • This is a depressing song...But I love it.

  • die Gruppe gefällt mir sehr gut!

  • brings back good old memories, love them so much !!!

  • It doesn't get any better than this ! Wonderful song and also...The Cleveland Browns beat the Green Bay Packers.

  • For much of the country and a fair share of the world, this is fully equal to Elvis, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Grateful Dead on one stage. It takes staggering talent to make a voice like Willie's sound as good as it does while it instantly melts your soul. The rest have their own, but certainly no less, unique talents. Hard hand to beat.

  • 12 people didn't like this??! Ouch! These men are ALL LEGENDS! WHAT IT NOT TO LIKE?!!

  • spsc1 oh how much I agree. The Best ever

  • Everyone of these Highwaymen songs from this show will bring a tear to any real Americans eye:-)

  • I know that is the last cowboy song, and I am so sad, because I realize that nobody can bring them together, and nobody can bring back the real american spirit.

  • Fantastic song and singers

  • @pedpump few can write songs like kris do u know his uncle owns a haulage firm and stays only 35 miles from me here in north east scotland

  • this the last cowboy song

vry nice in my ears legend and fantastic

  • just love willies voice , so perfect .

  • Why is this video compressed to a skinny vertical image?

  • Another piece of America's gone.

  • @basicaa still marty stewart and johnny couterfit left

  • the last cowboy song from last real cowboys

  • At this moment we cannot get some voices like they was

    <3<3

  • Wow, these four. awesome

  • I love Willie Nelson's voice the best :)

  • @Rehbekah Whereas, I gotta hand it to Waylon

  • I love them!

  • I still remember the first time I heard this song. Four of the Best!

  • Waylon is maybe the greatest country singer,,,ever.

  • @john9944 No maybe required in that statement. None greater. Waylon was like the Beatles. The likes of him (and them) will not be seen again.

  • Gosh I wish I would have been there during that concert!!!

    Four of the best ever!

I miss Waylon and Johnny terribly

    Whose gonna fill their shoes?

    I can't think of anyone.

    Thanks for the posting.

  • great song -- great group. They will be missed. The Highwaymen, themselves, are "another piece of America gone".

  • And now two of the best are gone... RIP Waylon and John.

  • Yes RIP Waylon and Johnny..you are missed! I love the Highway Men and what they stood for..The rebels against the standard "western music" forum.

  • this is a brilliant true country song by 4 true country legends

  • india for highmen

  • @theegreatrandini youre so dumb you dont understand. you hear it but you cant listen to it. feel sorry for you.
