I think she was misled into thinking that flutzes and slight under rotations on 3-3s and 3A are ok ... The judges sent wrong signals ... Sometimes they can't even agree with each other -3 to +3 GOEs for her 2007 worlds 3A ... If she had worked on her lutzes earlier she could be doing much better

この頃エッジの判定が厳しくなかったのは浅田選手だけではなく全­選手です。

誰とは言いませんが見逃されてる選手を除いて、ほとんどの女子選­手がルッツとフリップのどちらかが不正確でした。

日本選手で言えば、伊藤みどりさんや荒川さんはリップでした。安­藤選手はリップを矯正しましたが不安があるのか

昨シーズンはプログラムに入れませんでしたね。

そして村上選手はフルッツです。鈴木選手は両方フラットなエッジ­と判断されることがあります。浅田選手だけ強調して言われるのは­おかしいのでは？といつも思うのですが。

これも解説と同じで、印象操作のひとつかと思っちゃいます。

エッジのお話を出されたので、ほかの選手の名前も例として出させ­ていただきました。

I really love Mao don't get me wrong, she is strong, she attacks well. She's got technical everything, but when I watch Yuna, i just feel like she calls out to people to feel her program with her. When I watch Mao, she just doesn't 'finish' it for me. She gets it done without a doubt. But I feel like Mao is more 'watch me kick the shit out of this,' whereas yuna is more intellectual with it.

Even though I preferred Yuna at the Olympics, I think Mao's performance here was beautiful. And that triple axel even looked like it could have been clean! She is a very talented skater. :)

I think it was the biggest mistake for her that she decided attend the championship. Because people finally started wondering if there is something fishy behind Yuna and judges after she won free skating with that miserable performance.

Any I'm glad that you seem very happy with Yuna even thou she has the ugliest positions on her spirals and spins, just stiff like a stick LOL

I understand your feeling, but you shouldn't blame Mao for Yuna not acquiring the title. Just blame Yuna who miserably fell on easy 3L on short, and lost the championship to Mao by a wide margin. Poor Yuna...

I don't know what u r talking about... Triple Loop is one of the jumps Mas often includes in her program, and it's the jump Yuna has never landed cleanly in senior.

And didn't u know why Yuna stopped doing 3F-3T?

It's because she and her coach are aware that her flip is LIP.

And I understand that u guy just can't accept the fact that Mao is the only woman who does 3A, but don't put too much pressure on Yuna to do 3A.

Cause it's not the kind of jump she can do, you know? LOL

@chianti75 I dont mean to sneer Yu Na, but substantiated your argument with degrading Mao's 3A is lame. Yu Na is artistry while Mao is acrobatic, each of them has their own winning streak-and I believe, equal in talent. True, there're times when Mao is under Yu Na's shadow, but her work ethic advanced her further. The record breaking 3A has been atributed to her, but Yu Na doesn't have to do it better to outbest her.

I, personaly, who doesnt know much about skating, prefer Yu Na's programs because it's eye pleasing, but other people might prefer to see Mao's various executions. So 'to each their own'.
