Fox gets a lot of criticism and alot of the criticism is fair. They do tend to hype on things. On the other hand, compared to shows like Keith Olberman, they do attempt to show an opposing point of view. On Hannity & Colmes, Alan Colmes has been telling Sean, "I'm speaking now," he's been getting more aggressive lately. They also have specific amounts of time to speak. O'Reilly at least has opposing points of view on, (such as Dr. Marc Lamont Hill). Fox should give that man a show, I like him.

At any rate none of the major news organizations are interested in reporting unbiased news. Here is an example. In Europe news organizations are reporting the Iraqi death toll exceeds 800,000. I admit Fox is biased, and I think it's become more so. Some things I just can't wrap my brain around, like why they'd choose Karl Rove as a commentator. Now, he's a smart guy who knows American politics, obviously. But choosing him was obviously a way to brand themselves, once again, as the convervative network.

I'd prefer Fox to be more protective of their brand as "fair and balanced." But I maybe they've given in to the perception of them as the rightwing network, which I think is a shame.
