  • I got mine today and just for now I connected the Halos to the bumper lights but I like your idea and will do that in the next few days. Btw how did you do your HIDs? I had to remove the projector lamp and modify my HID(removing the shield) and slip it into small slot then secure it down and cover it. My problem is. The HIDs connect (red and black wire) to two of the 3 ports in the headlight wire harness, I can't connect the high beam to the stock housing. I mean I dont NEED the high beams lol,

  • Where would you recommend getting the halos from? and if you dont care if the running lights are on with your halos, do they just connect regularly?

  • How much wire did you need to connect the headlights and run into the fuse box?

  • Looks like it will be very helpful when I do this to my car eventually. I'll put it on my channel

  • hey do you live anywhere near MS? I'd like to pay you to do mine for me. Message me or call plz. 6624185258

  • @kirkhutchify haha sorry man, i live all the way up in ohio. But you could probably do it yourself and save some cash. :)

  • @TheNeuman Well could you find a link on the internet with the exact kind of inline fuse I need cuz I'm not really sure what they are. I found some but not 100% poositive its what I need. Thanks so much for your help.

  • i have the same halo's on my 02

  • How did you paint your interior. Like your vents are all white? I would like to paint mine red. Any idea?

  • Hey man I just want to say thanks. I did it by simple putting the cable in the fuse box, and putting a 10 fuse on top of the cable. It worked like magic. Thank You so much. Couldn't have done it without you.

  • How do I "run the inline fuse". Please help. That is all I need help with.

  • @techmaster8 Basically, an inline fuse is something you need to go out to any hardware/automotive store and get. It essentially goes into an open space in your fusebox and draws out a current to power whatever you need. Test the open spaces on your fusebox, connect on inline fuse to it, and on the other end run the power from your lights.

  • @TheNeuman Is an inline fuse a little box with two cables sticking out of it? If so i guess I will stick the positive from the halos to one of the the cable from the inline fuse but what about the other cable sticking out of the inline fuse? What do I do with that? FYI i have the same exact car as you so i know which spot to take. Sorry for bothering you so much but i really want to do this.

  • @techmaster8 yes, the other wire from the inline fuse goes into the open slot into the fusebox!

  • Comment removed

  • Where did you get so much wire? My projectors only came with about a foot of wire so it won't reach to the other side.

  • @techmaster8 i just used some wire i had laying around. Even in old charger such as a phone charger, you can use that wire just disconnect it from the prongs.

  • @TheNeuman Do you think 24 gauge wire will work. Thats what im going to use to connect interior leds.

Listen would you like to become a YT partner? I'm going to message you. I am one and make money making videos on things that I know.

  • @techmaster8 Yeah, 24 will work, i know you want to hide the wire so for LED's , since they have low power consumption, the thinner the wire would actually work better since you can hide the wire around the interior of the car.

  • Aww man...I actually like the bumper lights. lol. Maybe you can convince me though. I'm doing more of a slight mod/ restoration job on my 00' GS. Not being sexist, but I bought my eclipse from a woman, and I found out that in the headlights, she pretty much removed the portion where you lock the bulb in place, so my headlights are pretty much useless. -__-" So besides extra lighting, how do you feel about it in comparison to the oem lights, and in my position, what would you do?

  • @xxDarkHeartxx731 Well, you know the bumper lights still go on when you turn on the lights? Its just when the engine is turned on, the halos come on. So it doesnt take you to turn on the bumper lights to make the halos come on. I mean you still can have the bumper lights on with the halos. To me, yeah buy new ones. They are obviously better, but you don't want that bulb coming out so at least get those fixed.

  • Where did you buy these PLZ HELP

  • @JUSTADDCHEESE he bought em at ebay. Type dual projector for eclipse.

  • Hey I have a 08 eclipse and I got the halos but the wires are not black and red they are black and white and I hooked them up to the head light wires but the halos are not bright at all u step 2 feet away and u can barely see them I think its because its not getting enough power so can u shoot me a email or something and help me out thank u

  • Did you take off the bumper to run the wire from the right headlight to the left one?

  • Hey i have the same eclipse and ran the wires and connected them together, but i'm at the last part and have no clue to what you are pointing to. Is there any way you could show me the "hooking up to fuse box" step with more light because it is too dark to see it. Or could you respond back and tell me what exactly you did. But thanks alot for the video.

  • Couple ?'s.... Does the year or trim matter as far as the installation? because i have a '00 eclipse gt. How do the brights work cuz i click once for bumper light twice for both? And finally what brand lights are those? Plz answer back, thats a sweet set-up.

  • @heyitsthatcooolguy Just to answer your question, first no, trim doesn't matter. Basically you have the same model as mine, your fine. Second the "brights" or "hi-beams" work just like they would before. You pull back the left arm coming out of your steering wheel column. The low beams, like the actual headlights work if you click twice, just like the stock. The brand of my lights are IPEX racing, found them on ebay. (search mitsubishi eclipse dual halo ) you'll find them. Hope this helped!

  • @TheNeuman Preciate it man, what do u thinks looks cool single or double halo's?

  • @TheNeuman Preciate it man, what do u thinks looks cool single or double halo's?

  • Why would u want ur halo lights on in day ight? I'm gonna connect mines to the bumper lights. Makes more sense.

Ur video sucks btw, I didn't learn anything besides the fact that u can't make a good tutorial video.

  • @1thisbeme23 Okay, well if your going to criticize my video make some sense. Why i want my halos on all the time? Day-time running lights. If I went to Canada it is required you have daytime running lights. Second, it looks tacky with the bumper lights on. My opinion. I just want the halos on, even if they are on in the day light who cares?. Thank you for favoriting my video though. Good luck with your halos.

  • so whats the difference if you install them to your fusebox rather than the parking lights?

  • @Preppyboy70x Well...if they go to your parking lights the halos will only go on if you have your parking lights on. So rather than have them only on when the parking lights are on, when you connect them to your fusebox they will come on as soon as you start the car w/o any other lights on. So only the halos will be on in the front of the car. Acts as a daytime running lights...just easier and it looks better to have them on by themselves.

  • on the Dual Halos which Light is the highs the angel or the other one?

  • will this work if you have bi-xenon bulbs?

  • Thanks for the vid i have an 03 eclipse. I was wondering, about how much are your dual halo lights and where did you get them? thanks.

  • @aris1128 120$ shipped off Ebay. Yeah just search mitsubishi eclipse 03 dual halo or something like that. The sometimes run out of stock, so check frequently. And your welcome (:

  • Thanks for the vid... Follow'd it to a tee...I have an 01 Eclipse GT too.... Ran power from the open fuse bay after checking for power as recommended..Connected both lights (simple) ran the ground to the same place you did....Now the Problem.. When car is running got an immediate "check engine light" and the vehicle is running rough.. What went wrong?

  • @dnrvlle Ok Well it could be a couple of things that went wrong. First i dont think it would be the battery or anything. Mostly, since your not doing anything to the engine there should be no performance issues. It may very well be that something went wrong and it happened around this time. Now, as to why i say this is because with headlights it would be unrelated to the actual engine. Explain what it is doing please? ( i would get it diagnosed to see whats up with it though,)

  • lets say one of the headlights went out. What would the model # of headlight would it be, and how expensive would they cost?

  • @montysport94 One headlight? hmm...I got a pair off ebay for 120$ so im guessing 60$ but...they only sell them in pairs as far as i know.

  • @TheNeuman lol sorry I meant bulb. XD

  • @montysport94 well you got to take the burnt one out and get the specifics. For instance mine is h1 for my high and low beams. ( high = brights )

  • @micahfree25 Ah i believe mine, on the headlight assembly is either at the side that is in between the projector and the front panel or by behind by the high beam. Now, i dont know if we have the exact same headlight though so i can't be 100% sure

  • @micahfree25 actually on the headlights you can adjust side to side or up and down on the gears. I didn't need to do this since the projectors inside are already adjusted correctly.
