This is a very good tutorial. Very creative and very fun to watch. Thank you... I have all these "ingredients" on my shelf...hopefully they will turn out as beautiful as yours did!!
quick question! i was trying to emboss my flower with utee and the flower would always stick to the paper that i have it laying on, have any idea what im doing wrong here?
How beautiful! I'm so glad I found this, thank you!
2 quick question, will this only work if you use UTEE, or can you miz\x the glitter with other embossing powders as well (fine, etc.)? And the glitter you used, is it fine as well or can thicker glitters be used (such as Martha Stewart, etc.)? If you know, that would be great, if not, I'll just experiment and let you know :P
You can use ultra fine embossing powder, but you would really have to use wuite a bit of it and it takes a lot of coats to get it this glassy. It's also not as clear. Yes, I've used different grades of glitter, and Martha Stewart has glow in the dark glitter that is really neat! Thanks for watching!
Ha remember a long time ago we were talking about using glitter and you said you hated using it and I said I have to show you a cool way to use it? This is what I was talking about! lol so what do you think? Would ya try it? he he
So funny.....can't believe you remember that. I love this technique. Absolutely love it. I must eat my words. I'm all about glitter now. he he. Thanks Marion.
Wow Marion this flower is so beautiful!! I was wondering how you did it when I saw your halloween mini album.... Can't believe the glitter sparkles so well throughout the UTEE. Thanks for sharing this!!!
Funny but last night when I was looking at your Halloween mimi video, that was the one flower that caught my attention. Thank you so much for sharing how you did it! Quite a bit of work but a very pretty outcome!
Yay! you're back! I see you're in your new space. I hate moving. I am still trying to get settled myself. anyway. I love this new technique. You always have fantastic ideas. I can't wait to try this.
I hope you can show us your new craft room soon. : )
Right, that's really why I started doing it, it's such a clean way to use glitter too! If you notice none of the glitter blew away because it's so light that it sticks really well to the embossing liquid.
hi love the look of your flowers......well i'm deaf and cant hear on this but i would like to know what you use to make it look so cute!!!! thanks for showing
I'm sorry, the materials I used are: Glitter mixed with ultra thick embossing enamel, ultra fine embossing enamel, white prima flowers, ranger colorwash{Green mist} old lace tatttered angels {Brown mist} and a heat gun. Let me know if you have any other questions!
You're welcome! It works great on everything, I used this same technique for chipboard letters and the frames on the Halloween mini I did. Glad you like it!
Thanks! I'm not sure, most likely not these kits were totally loaded and took a really long time to put together. I'm sorry you missed out, we had a bunch and they sold out so fast. Wish I would have made more. I'll see if I can still get these supplies and let you know!

What a great idea for using glitter. This would prevent all the glitter from coming off later right?
