    hugs

    xx

  • how do you keep your flowers from cracking? Mine, I have to really handle with care, or the utee cracks like glass.

  • @tammyw5456 I know!! I lay mine on really thick lol! I have a new technique for this though, I will share it soon!

  • This is a very good tutorial. Very creative and very fun to watch. Thank you... I have all these "ingredients" on my shelf...hopefully they will turn out as beautiful as yours did!!

  • this is a really neat idea. Im going to have to try this but I have one question what is utee?

  • UTEE is Ultra Thick Embossing Powder.I just googled it becuase I didn't know either.

  • Oh...I am so going to be doing this!! Thanks for the inspiration!;) Keep 'em comin!

  • hey love this technique!

quick question! i was trying to emboss my flower with utee and the flower would always stick to the paper that i have it laying on, have any idea what im doing wrong here?

    TFS! hugs.

  • How beautiful! I'm so glad I found this, thank you!

2 quick question, will this only work if you use UTEE, or can you miz\x the glitter with other embossing powders as well (fine, etc.)? And the glitter you used, is it fine as well or can thicker glitters be used (such as Martha Stewart, etc.)? If you know, that would be great, if not, I'll just experiment and let you know :P

    TFS! Take care.

  • You can use ultra fine embossing powder, but you would really have to use wuite a bit of it and it takes a lot of coats to get it this glassy. It's also not as clear. Yes, I've used different grades of glitter, and Martha Stewart has glow in the dark glitter that is really neat! Thanks for watching!

  • Off to the store I go for some UTEE then :D

Thank you very much for the information, I greatly appreciate it.

  • What a great idea for using glitter. This would prevent all the glitter from coming off later right?

  • Right, that's really why I started doing it, it's such a clean way to use glitter too! If you notice none of the glitter blew away because it's so light that it sticks really well to the embossing liquid.

  • so pretty! Must try!!!
