the 2nd movement is so funny. the title translates to " the sloppy society of great humor", hehe. maybe they got too drunk to play together in one key xD it sounds like 20th century avantgarde ;D
@Elfenohr That's close. It's actually "careless society". and you're right it does indeed sound careless. I'm not sure what he was trying to pursue with that movement.
They are songs from different Germanic Tribes, I believe, which are superimposed over one another polytonally to speak about the carelessness of the German Prices and their incessant waring. Or so I was told, and it does fit with it being something of an anti-war piece.
