@Lintflas Germany has been in existence since 1873 (I think), and in its short existence its been responsible for the deaths of more than 20 million people, most of them civilians in a form of mechanized murder. Germany In the first world war invaded the neutral country of Belgium, (which is where German soldiers murder a town of civilians) which brought Britain into the war. In the second world war Britain entered after Germany's invasion of Poland, I fail to see how it Britain's fault.

The Uk is just a third world little Islam now. I can't see anything improving in that miserable little part of the world. No one in Europe wants to buy their rancid mad cow diseased meat or their salmonella infested poulty and dairy products. The best thing for Europe to do would be to attached heavy chains around the country and drag it by ships and helicopter out into the atlantic ocean and hopefully it will sink.

@commanderjohnkoenig The reason why that is,is because of Britains population of supply and demand,the more people,the more land development,the more land development,the less land,and it cant sustain large exports of its food,because of its supply and demand of food,it is one of the things that has me worried.

China, India and Russia, along with Indonesia and other asian countries are preparing their economies for a collapsed US dollar.
Dont be foolish enough to think that china will keep buying US treasury bonds to prop us up in order to sell us their goods. Asia, as a whole, is the worlds biggest emerging market and China wont need us much longer.

@BrodyLuv2 don't say you weren't warned... We are a service based economy, we produce very little. The government is trying to boost spending and borrowing, because of that we have little savings for investments in capital. Inflation is here due to the 'stimulus packages', we have a devalued pound, soon we will have rising prices, and employment. Like Jim points out peak oil production is here, and we need energy to produce, survive and flourish... here come rising energy prices.

@jayangli Yep, but how long do you think it is before China realizes that the US can't pay off it's debts and sell off it's bonds, dumps the dollar, and turns towards building up their domestic economy? Energy is the foundation for the economy, rising prices mean the economy as a whole will suffer, that coupled with our burst bubbles means we are screwed. We've been spending/borrowing above our earnings, now we have rising energy prices, and inflation. But seriously do your own research.

@davidkoh7 Thanks for the heads up about the Uk being in negative equity. I've recently began delving into economics and I am now convinced that we are seriously screwed. The followers of austrian economics, Islamic economics and some environmentalists, have been trying to warn us for years. The paradigm of infinite growth, unsustainable. Economies should naturally expand and contract, governments and central banks trying to prop up growth and control economies eventually leads to collapse.
