  • Heres one i made

    /watch?v=ohqJxmUOUSE

If you remove the speaker you could wire it

    into any external transmitter.

looks nice but could be hella better "the one in my link"

  • It is a functional CW key for the basic use of code, Im working on a key with square stock brass bars (key way stock) and some springs, cotter pins, etc! I know it will work fine, its a very easy thing to make, but i want it to look very good and last years! If someone looks at it and says "what company made that" Ill be happy! I need a very heavy base, or i tend to throw it around! Keep inventing things!!!! --... ...--

  • Very pleased to receive your comment. I was about flat broke and could not afford a key, but wanted badly to use one (had been using my J38 since the start), so... I BUILT IT! :-) It worked pretty good, I was so new to CW in this video, and it shows! HA HA!

Id like you to let me know when you post a video of YOUR key please, I would like to see that!

Ham Radio is the best hobby for building, experimenting and fun!

    Best 73s!

  • this is what sets hams above the rest! the ability to adapt and overcome! If you were out on a job (ARES) and your key broke or the mic lever busted, the ham would make it work!! My playing is on hold for a while, Im having real life issues to deal with! I wish i could just bury my head in the radio to relax! Ill be sure to send you some pics, im not good at videos. 73!

  • Thx agn! gud luck OM!
