The Beach Is Not An Ashtray

DrBizzardo, I'm an Indian from Chennai. We have the world's 2nd longest beach The Marina. But not one Sq.Ft of the beach sands are clean. Everywhere you can find litter and the beach shores are used as toilets in the mornings. Like you spot occasional cigarette buds in your beach, we spot occasional clean Sq.Ft in our Marina Beach.... That's sad

YES! Please stop using the beach as an ashtray, or rather the EARTH as your ashtray! Smoking is one thing, but littering is something else. Smarten up and have some respect before Hawaii follows L.A and bans smoking on the beach!

Thanks for your comments--Hawaii County is trying to make a beach no-smoking policy but...idiots, bureaucracy and politics intercedes...to me, it's a no-brainer. But then, so is not smoking and not littering...
