Hey Dave I've always wondered about the plank..when you're doing it, are u meant to suck your stomach in, or just be in the position that you're in in the video?
CAN SOMEONE HELP! my excrise calls for multiple planks sometimes 15 and sometimes like 40 or something dumb regardless my question is on my workout guide it show the person in the tut (but a cartoon motion picture) like hold for about 5-10 secs. is this what you should do for counting one or am i saposed to hold for as long as i can 15 times? i tried that once and couldnt get through my workout!
Hey Davey, how about some exercise suggestions for those of us who are ...hmmm... let's say "hiding our abs behind a protective layer" of fat. Getting started is the hard part for us.
@YouFyrst bodyrock.tv which is also a youtube channel uploads videos daily (weight loss workouts) that might be a good start, as you can go along the exercises each day. Like that it doesn't get monotonous that fast, as especially for beginners motivation is the most important thing. dont expect to see results after 5 days, be realistic with yourself and if possible, work out with friends (motivation). most importantly: dont say: "i wanna lose 10 kilos now" rather "1 kilo, then another
This is the worst video on planking I have ever seen. First of all, you're supposed to be laying completely flat. And secondly, you're supposed to be lying face down in weird places, like on office tables or on stairs.
@allbackiceland This isn't a video about the popular game of "planking"... Davey is teaching you how to strengthen your core using the "plank" EXERCISE. They are different things.
