You're taking this video way too seriously, bro. I recorded a silly random occurrence in Sonic 2, and related it to similar occurrences in Sonic 4. I wasn't insulting Sonic 2, nor was I excusing Sonic 4. I do know quite a bit about how the physics are different in the two games, but that doesn't matter in the case of this video. It's just a glitch that occurred when Sonic automatically uncurled as I neared the top of the wall. Nothing more.
