  • The year I was born, I miss the 1990's :(

  • Dont you just love Our driving. And Swearing at the end. Dont you just love it when you could pull out a hammer and a nail and not need life insurance

  • 2:46 sierra cosworth

  • @adyclipper

That's not a Cosworth, most likely an XR4x4.

  • 2011 and I've still not got my package :(

  • Notice how bad the rear tyres on this lorry and to think they are supposed to be pro's

    Look at point 1:12

  • guess the mail was abit late that day ha??

  • Beattie is right

  • You are right, but that is because you are there working and the only get to film during quiet moments.

So sorry but the job does not provide a cameraman so you do what you can.

    Andy

  • i think you should invest in a tripod or leave the camera sitting on something.

  • you guys make it look easy

  • You missed the best bit, where it fell back onto its wheels.

  • You are not wrong, but as so often happens with my videos I was busy controlling the roll over! What we needed was a separate guy just to work the camera :-)

  • More a slow rool over as he took the bend

  • did it crash?

  • Thanks for that. She is called the Brooklands Belle and is still working today, with Langley Vale of Epsom

  • That's what we pay our taxes for, police turn up when there's sod all to do -- stand around for hours drinking coffee, unload a lorry, yet if YOUR house or car is broken into -- they are not interested, not even keen on giving you a crime number cos it makes their clean up rate look bad.

  • Sorry but i had to reply to this, 1st Take a look at the date, things where alot different in them days, 2nd don't blame the police, it's the bloody goverment cutting back and lining their pockets with your tax money, That should be going to our public services, NHS, Hospital,Dentists, nurse's,Armed forces, The Highways (roads and pavements) and yes extra policing, so that when your house is broken into, A police officer comes to your house within the hour to investigate..

  • Ah the good old days!!, Well before health and safety was even heard of. And jobs took half the time they do nowadays.

    Bill Jackson would be proud.

  • and his brother Gordon! Not sure of your background, but I know I could not put up with the Crap! the lads have to today.

    Regards Andy

  • Hi Alan it was not National Breakdown it was National Rescue and no I retired last year.

    Regards Andy

  • Noticed the sacks was packed loosely in the trailer, now they put them in cages. Nice comment at the end

  • You have to have a sense of humour to be in vehicle recovery.

  • Nice job but why not remove the prop when the lorry is on the side it saves climbing under it later

  • It is a valid point Stuart and it may well have been done that way. Perhaps he had it so high, just to check underneath. Who knows now, it was a bloody long time ago!

  • they rolled another one in the same spot recently, just goes to show lessons aren't leant even 15 years on!

  • What another Royal Mail one Mark?

  • Interesting job and well executed recovery. Did any of the Mail Bags get lost?
