  • All time bests - anytime......!!!

  • Sweet and sublime - Lata ji's voice is a miracle;

  • GREAT UPLOAD. ONE OF THE BEST SONGS.THANKS A LOT

  • @mohanudiavar - You are most welcome, my dear friend.

  • Jyoti kalash ke saath, man chalke, nain chalke, swar kalash chalke! Translation for the benifit of the uploader( I read some where that Yuanji doesn't understand Hindi. Is it true?): "Along with the pot of light, the heart overflows, eyes overflow and the pot of musical notes overflows.

  • @sairam239 - Thank you my dear friend for the translation.

You are absolutely correct, I do not know Hindi and Urdu languages but I think [not that I am boasting or anything like that, please believe me.] I have "ears for good music" as you yourself have said in the earlier comment.

So, being "Hindustani Music Is The Best Music In The World" [as I used to say everywhere including in my profile too], I am humbly proud of that fact mentioned above.

Thank you and may God bless you.

  • Meena kumari is looking like a typical house wife. She is simply beautiful.

  • This song will be ever etched in the mind of music lovers like the sun rising in the east daily.Thank you my friend, you sure have ears for music!

Wish you a very happy birth day.

  • class in itself. Who says only urdu songs are sweet?Much better than any urdu song.

  • Very ecstatic and memorable song of Lata Ji composed by Shri Sudhir Phadke. The lyrics to this remarkable song which propels to trance, were written by Pandit Narendra Sharma. A gratitude to dawn twilight by Meena Kumari. All make this song a haunting melody…

    Thanks and regards

    Mukhtar

  • @latadidivine - Yes, I have dedicated this beautiful song to one of my best friends at YT, 6 months back!

    She DESERVES this divine song!

  • One of the GOLDEN OLD Songs I would like to hear again while dying...

  • @utkarshg1 - Sincerely hope that you are just kidding, my dear friend!

By the way, thanks for subscribing to one of my other channels, "treecagara".

    Take care.

  • Hello Yuan and thank you. This song is based on raag Bhopali. And the fat kid seems to be Randhir Kapoor.

  • @RealMusicKing - You are most welcome, my friend.

By the way, Randhir Kapoor was born in 1947 and at the time of making this film he was around 13/14 years old, but "the boy" seems to be around 10 years old in the film!

So, in view of that, can he be Randhir?

  • @yuanyuanyuanyin Sometimes it took them few years completing a movie. Film, Love and God began filming in mid 1960's and wasn't released till late 1980's.If this is not Randhir then Raj Kapoor died without giving details of his "HobblingGobbling" whereabouts to wife Krishna Kapoor. Lol.

  • Though I could not understand the meaning of the lyrics yet I feel it touches my soul and I feel being carried away by the melodious voice and music altogether. I shall be grateful if someone could explain the theme and central idea of this beautiful song.

  • @Sameer691000 - My dear friend, I would have done it, if I knew the language.

    Can someone help, please?

    Thank you.

    .! regards .

  • @chamogaa - To tell you the truth my dear Professor, when I wanted to dedicate a song but since I do not know the meaning [language], I asked her giving few choices!

Then she selected this song saying "..........it is my most fav and the song of welcoming a new dawn , i just adore jyoti kalash chalke......."

So this is how it all happened, like in a Hindi film!

What if I posted a song like "Rafi & Asha - O Mister Banjo, O You Miss Tango - Ham Sab Chor Hain [1956]"!!!

    Just kidding!

    Take care.

  • @yuanyuanyuanyin

yuan , do you know the meaning of '' ham sab chor hain ''? its ''we are all thieves ''. well , i think we have all been stealing each others' hearts ! thanks for the great birthday party and making me deliriously happy .
