Although teachers do play a factor in the success of the students, ALL emphasis relies on the student. I had great teachers at Jefferson. I graduated and was given the necessary tools to go on and attain an education.
I'm from class of 2004 and will be graduating with my Bachelors and minor, and will continue on to pursue my credential and Masters. As someone said earlier, if you did not like the teacher, all you had to do was see your counselor. I sure did. IT IS THE STUDENT'S JOB TO SUCCEED.
Why is it that everyone blames the teachers. I always say that if you can't set eye to eye with the teacher go and talk to your counselor and let your parents know.
I bet that if you would of graduated, you would be thanking the teachers. Nothing bad, just upset about the fact that we always have to blame someone else for our mistakes.
@Afraid0fGhosts The educational system does suck.... but that doesnt mean you have to fail. Jefferson class of 01' here with a degree from UCLA 06', Graduated with a damn good GPA and am now weighing my options for grad school. While schooling is a determinator in ones life chances, it is not the only factor. Life is what you make of it!!
@slj62299 thank god i also graduated but it sucks that even the teachers dont give a damn and dont like their job, they dont do it and the sudents that actually want to learn end up getting fucked like the rest. may i ask what you're doing now?
