  • Depends on the airport... at some airports the pickup center is away from the arrival area. You have to cross more traffic to get back to the other area, and by then it's full of people who got there while you were using your new 'strategy'.

  • It works at LAX. In 1998, our first arrival in the US was into that airport and it was a real eye-opener, no mistake. The traffic at arrival level was unbelievable and the part that made us laugh was the cops who were ticketing over-parked cars in the kerb lane. The cops left their own cars in the center lane, blocking the traffic, while ticketing the cars that were blocking traffic. Must be a LA thing.

  • i already do this all the time. works great at DFW especially. arrivals area is ALWAYS empty

  • I see, go to the arrival gate for departures, and get picked up at the departure gate for arrivals.

  • That is the most disturbing and random comment somebody can make.

  • It is too bad that we have to see comments like this. Not only are they irrelevant, they are out of place, tasteless and quite frankly should not be tolerated in fora like this. Personally, I think stuff like this is posted because someone needs attention or a machine spreads mass spam for an unknown reason.

  • Depends on when you are arriving buddy...

  • no no.. i would suggest to always go to arrival gate for departures and arrivals... the dep level is always a refugee center..

  • :O no hes a lier. that was 45 seconds!!! no 30geeze
