"HP LaserJet CB435A Black Print Cartridge with Smart Printing Technology" : 1500 text pages. If the cartridge is empty, you must shake it, then you can still print 50 pages or more. It works! You shouldn't print pictures with this printer cause they're too bright and they need too much colour.
do you buy new cartridges? I've seen that refill is possible but I have a doubt: will it always work or there's the need to change the cartridge periodically? Are problems frequent with refill procedure?
Yes I buy new (rebuilt) cartridges. You shouldn't refill cartridges because the drum in the cartridge can just print about 2000 pages. (hp printers) Because of that cartridges (hp) are so expensive. Other printers don't swap the drum with every cartridge, but then you had to buy a new drum (100-1000$) after a few thousand pages, but the cartridges are cheaper.
