Diana was too busy to be on the album, but let's also remember the album was also recorded before the writers decided to put Quinn and Sam together. Kurt's lines and blocking very likely would have reflected a building relationship with Sam, which was what had originally been intended before they realized he and Quinn had good chemistry. (Which -- good thing they did. If not we never would have gotten Darren Criss.)

ugh when i listened to the other version and kurt sung that i was like "hold up, who are you and where the hell is dianna??" like no thats not working out, must find the other version.

Also compare to Kurt's lines, which seem to pop out (too gleeful) on his version, Diane's voice harmonizes with the others perfectly for this song. Ironically Tina seems to have a perfect voice for Christmas songs. Her voice seems to be prominent among the cast in these songs.

I love Diane's voice as it has a kind of old-school sultry voice that was very popular during the 40's. Her voice reminds me a bit of the Andrews sisters.

I LOVE Chris's voice, but this song didn't suit him at all :( Mostly just on the "wake up! Don't you know that it's time to come out?" part. Dianna sounds lovely <3 best wishes to both.

Omg, Quinn's voice is much better suited than Kurt's. When Quinn sings, it's childish and whimsical. When Kurt sings, it's a little creepy and just doesn't sound right at all.
