Nice pictures of scenaries and buildings. I'm a SF Bay Area native. Despite most people up here, I still prefer LA over San Francisco anytime--more job opportunities, better weather, beaches, palm trees, stronger fashion sense, more health conscious, cheaper shopping, more choices, more things to see and do, slightly less expensive housing, and more excitement.

The biggest city in the world is Tokyo with over 30Mio People. New York may not be as wide-streched as Los Angeles..but it has a lot more inhabitants. It also must have more departments and therefore more massive and higher buildings and more concrete in generall. New York is a massive melting pot metropolis city and not a lot of close-knit small cities and suburban areas like LA.
NYC is a sick city I love it but LAs weather is way better...it's not humid.....and it's always summer too even in winter lol but it's perfect for the beaches

@deniselian I'm an LA native & I could give you some ideas on areas to live. It's pretty diverse. Burbank is a nice neighborhood. Good schools, it's safe & if you like horses, the equestrian center is right there. Stay away from Glendale though!

I live within the LA county. The city of Los Angeles itself has some good areas and the very gritty places that no one wants to be at. I live more toward the South Bay area which is a much nicer part of the LA county. Over here we have Palos Verdes cliffs (PV), Trump golf course, Long Beach, The Port of LA in the (3rd busiest port in the world), etc. It usually takes 45 minutes to get anywhere in LA. LOL!
@jamiedaniels666 -LOTS and LOTS of traffic. I live in the south bay area of the LA county and it seems like it doesnt matter which place in the county it is, there IS ALWAYS traffic. But if you can deal with traffic, its probably the best place to live if you want to live the entertained life style. You just got to know the right people and live in the right place to live a comfortable life here :)

What are you talking about? LA has way more land. NY has a bigger skyline and more people but... You got to remember that NYC is on a small island and the reason it took you so long to get around was because it's over crowded. LA has many more square miles then NYC and LA is more spread out then NYC. That is why we don't have to build up like they do. But if we chose to we would have the biggest skyline in America because we sure got the room for it.
